Scott Baio is NEXT

Didn’t Baio’s wife come out with some shittery not that long ago? I forgot what and don’t feel like looking it up, but it put them both in, shall we say, a bad light.

Yeah, they were both Sandy Hook Truthers until he backed off and apologized for it.

His wife has had some brain tumor issues I wouldn’t wish on anyone, but then there’s this bit of impolite;

*On Saturday morning, Baio’s wife gave an update to her Twitter followers on a recent surgery she underwent, writing that there was a “scary set back….transfusion and now bed rest.”

Marquez-Greene replied and said, “Sure hope no one makes fun of you or suggests you’re acting… Instead? I will say god bless you and best wishes for a speedy recovery.”

Baio’s wife responded: “I’m sorry 4 your loss @Nelba_MG however, maybe your children are in a better place. Your ugliness knows no bounds! I’ll pray for you.”*
Ms. Marquez-Greene being the mother of one of the kids killed at Sandy Hook.

Did I say he was innocent? I thought using Willie Nelson was a clue that he likely did it. What I am inferring is that he was extremely promiscuous and those people tend to have a sense of entitlement when it comes to sex. He was quite the braggart on his conquests. I’m sure he was someone who did not take no for an answer.

“Joanie beats Chachi to death”

Robby Benson is NEXT

Well God bless you, aldiboronti, for taking a bold stance while all the rest of us unquestioningly accept her version of events.

Meanwhile, the fact that “she’s been making these allegations for years yet not once has she approached the appropriate authorities” is not necessarily an indication that the accusations are fabricated, given the recent revelations about how formal charges of sexual assault are dealt with in Hollywood. She may well have been warned off making a formal complaint. It doesn’t prove she’s telling the truth either, mind you, but it requires a little more consideration than mere handwaving.

I’m thinking that Baio isn’t the only person who paired up with a minor Eggert, he just happens to be the easiest and most recognizable target perhaps. #OhYeah,MeToo

Anyway, nice duck.

(underline and bold added)

You admit that it doesn’t prove she’s telling the truth at the same time you’re implying that you speak for the rest of us, and the rest of us UNQUESTIONINGLY accept her version of events.

Which is it? Everyone unquestioningly accepts her version, or some people have doubts about her version, or some people simply don’t like Scott Baio and he must be guilty of everything anyone accuses him of?

I don’t personally know any of the parties involved so I’m a bit reluctant to accept any of the accusations. I can only hope that is OK with you.

Baio has always had a punchable face and starred in a show that (despite years of good ratings) apparently everybody hated. If that doesn’t conclusively prove his guilt, I don’t know what will.

Hey, doorhinge–have you heard of “sarcasm”? Do you know how to recognize it in the wild?

Here’s one hint: when someone describes themselves as part of a group that is taking an extremely stupid position–as one hypothetical, if someone talks about "all the rest of us unquestioningly accept"ing a position–there’s a good chance that they’re using sarcasm.

That means that they don’t mean you to take what they’re saying literally. Ironically, in this case, you shouldn’t “unquestioningly accept” their words at face value.

I hope this helps you out!

Well, it IS a form of humor that requires some minimum amount of self-awareness, so…

He’s also long ago agreed that he was a dick for many years, and that he’s not surprised that some people hated him for that.

I’ve never liked him. I think things should just time out after a while.

He WAS timed out for a long time but, like many things long thought moribund (such as widespread nationalism and xenophobia), Trump dragged it out into the sunlight again.

Yeah, that whole Sandy Hook thing was very recent, and the insults posted by his wife aimed at one of the mothers were just last summer.

While I have some personal familiarity with men being dragged down by the crazy of their wives, it doesn’t really excuse it.

He can be fifty different kinds of CT asshole, but that has nothing to do with these accusations. Let’s focus on what is important: I don’t like him. He was the reason I stopped watching Happy Days. His face is on its knees begging for a fist. His accuser? I’ve only a vague idea who she is. AFAIK, I’ve never seen anything she was in. My dislike predisposes me to assume his guilt. Lock him up.

(post shortened)

It does. Thanks. It gives me a clue as to how I read your posts in the future. Just because you actually said something doesn’t mean you actually meant what you said.

That’s how sarcasm works  (and it was Gyrate’s sarcasm you couldn’t read, not LHoD’s).

And I responded to LHoD’s post to me. This isn’t rocket surgery.

I know one pervy guy that would trade his life for his Subway job back…

Yeah, it’s pretty obvious that I know that, isn’t it?

to LHoD. He’s not the one that responded with sarcasm that you didn’t get. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to have a clue of how to read his posts. He recognized the sarcasm and pointed it out to you, so there’s no need to read his posts any differently.
