Screw the Temptations and Gloria Allred

Er, the OP should separate the evidence from…

Nah, isn’t worth completing the sentence.

I managed to hang with it for 2 minutes. As the coolie pushing broom in a Chinese noodle factory continually mumbled to himself, “Everybody crazee.”

Which is why they don’t need apologies; it’s just business.

Ah, so you probably didn’t get to the part where they claim that golfers swing their clubs at “full force” at the balls, which may “increase the risk of harm to women,” or the suggestion that marks on the balls may resemble “bruises,” which may lead to “inappropriate jokes about hitting women,” or Allred demonstrating the potential for violence by holding an oversized novelty golf club up to the picture of her client’s face (pre-pornstar-makeover, before she was given the Jodie-Foster-in-The Accused short cut, meant to imply both victimhood and born-again class)…

Oops. Spoiler alert!

Exactly when I left. Talk about raising Bar to idiocy.

Why? They never made Elin any promises to keep away from her husband (or anybody else’s husband), AFAIK. Her husband, the guy who presumably DID make her a promise of fidelity, owes her an apology, but nobody else does.

Sure, it would be nice if any or all of Woods’s mistresses spontaneously felt bad about their adulterous involvement and expressed regret for it. But they don’t owe it to anybody in particular.

Yeah, like you can get it up.

If this woman’s image is being used against her will, or if she will not profit from it, I can’t see why her lawsuit is so surprising.

So, couch it in whatever sexist terms you want, it’s still infringement and is actionable.
