Probably not; Tom Cavanagh’s first appearance as JD’s older brother was in 2002 (pre-AD) and his first line in the episode (just checked the DVD) is “Hey, little brother.”
Did anyone else think that Tom Cavanagh looked awful? He was obviously wearing a lot of makeup, he was very pale, and he looked thin. Is he all right? Does anyone know?
I missed this thread last week, but did anyone think it was somewhat balsy for Scrubs to mention a show (House) that goes up against it? I mean, someone could say, “Damn, that’s right, House!” and change the channel to Fox (I DVR both, so no worries for me!)… though it was a great line :D.
I loved that line, mostly because I also like House and ultimatly always choose Scrubs. Though sometimes I am known to “squire” that week’s House later on and watch it. I like House, but admit it’s very formulaic, but damn if just watching Hugh Laurie isn’t awesome. He could make any show watchable.
Your DVR should be able to do it more or less automatically. Just go to the program guide and tell it to record both.
One caveat is that most DVRs only have two tuners. So you can be “using” at most two channels at a time (whether recording both, or recording one and watching one), so as an example, when you tell the DVR to record both Scrubs and House, you can’t watch CBS at the same time (although why you would want to when two brilliant shows are on is beyond me!).
