I really enjoyed this one. Especially the ending.
JD’s and Turk’s diagnosis of Cox’s patient was cool too, as well as Cox’s reaction to JD’s drawing: "Oh that’s an otter!’
So…What did you think?

I liked it, but was surprised at the ending. Was this something that has been in the works for a while? Is it an indication that the show won’t be back next year?
I thought it was just running on empty. The jokes were flat and the show’s usually tendency toward overplaying things just ran wild (in earlier shows, they were able to show restraint, but this one smacked of desparately trying to be funny).
I liked it. I thought the end was vintage Kelso…he’s a right bastard, and he’s going to do whatever he can to make sure he gets his way. I kept expecting the young intern he was reminiscing with to be the son of one of the board members or something.
I did not, however, need to see a drawing of Carla’s boob.
“Are you familiar with the term `delusions of grandeur’?”
“I believe I invented the term.”
Come on, that’s a brilliant joke.
I liked it. I liked the ending a lot. Of COURSE Kelso’s a bastard, but hey, he’s a bastard that’s going out on his own terms!
The moment I saw the purple pee, I said, “porphyria!” But I said it with the emphasis on the second syllable. I don’t know which is right. (Thanks to “The Madness of King George” for teaching me about the purple pee-porphyria connection).
I sorta shat on the show in the thread a couple weeks ago, but the show has been better since, though still past its prime. Even Elliot’s been looking better, though I still like the more natural(?) ‘scrubs’ Elliot better than ‘Dr. Reid’.
Did anyone notice the names on the plaques that were on the wall behind Kelso & the intern? “Sparky Redoglia?”
Which makes sense, as he is of the opinion that people are bastard-coated bastards with bastard filling.
I enjoyed it mostly. I am feeling melancholy today, and the show added to that I guess, but I enjoyed in anyway. I’m thinking it is time to end the show. I think it has run it course.
