How come we’re a day late discussing this show? It’s quirky, but it’s back on the schedule, and apart from a few hits and misses, I thought it had a following here.
(Yes, I did a search on “scrubs” for the past week.)
Anyhow, farewell, Laverne . Any scoop on if the actress wanted to move on or the writers wanted to inject some drama?
Pretty funny ending though, with JD becoming godfather and getting his choice of name for Cox’s daughter.
Did anybody else miss episode 131, which aired on 3/22? My Tivo didn’t record it for some reason so I entered this episode greatly confused about why Laverne was lying in a hospital bed. Good ep though, it had that mix of sorrow and humor that this show does so well.
Anyway, maybe everyone missed the last episode, and that’s why nobody is discussing it. Does anybody have any idea when they might replay episode 131 so I can set my Tivo?

Early in the episode it showed him shaving it, with JD’s voiceover saying how everyone was dealing with Laverne’s injuries on their own way.

That explains why he’s got no hair in the clip show episode, does anyone know why they showed them out of order though?

That cilp show must have developed out of them running one episode short in this season’s order. It made no sense on many levels, including Cox’s lack of hair.

(Best joke in the episode was Dr.Keslo asking Perry if he was on call tonight, or if he was busy fighting Superman. )

Thanks. I think they started the episode 5 minutes early and my DVR missed it.
Laverne’s family briefly showed up, then disappeared. Why was only the hospital staff at her side as she died, not Mr. Roberts and Roberts Jr? Anybody else bothered by this?
When Kelso kissed the brain-dead Lavene on the lips, did anyone else think it was kinda icky? Slightly necro overtones, and I didn’t believe for one moment that that devout woman would mess around with the likes of Kelso.
Was Laverne completely exorcised by Carla’s goodbye? Anyone else hoping she’ll stick around in ghostly form next season?
