Is anyone planning on doing this? Otherwise I’ll take on the responsibility! Everybody buys one present and mails it to their Secret Santa. Let’s get some rules down:
Traditional price limit is $10 excluding postage. If you really want to go over, go over, but let’s try to keep it between $10 and $20 so no one feels bad.

e-mail me at elenia25 at yahoo dot com. Please put your username in the subject line. When you e-mail me, include your real name, your shipping address, and whether you are willing to ship internationally.
Post in this thread with some ideas for people - favorite things, colors, stuff you are allergic to.
When you ship, please wrap carefully to avoid disappointment on the other end. Also include a note with your name and your username so your recipient knows who your secret santa is!
Please post when you ship and when you receive, even if you don’t intend to open your gift until later. If you sign up and find out you are unable to participate, please let me know as soon as possible so we can avoid disappointment.

I’d like to have everyone’s names in by November 30th. I’ll try to get everyone’s assignments in by the end of that weekend.

Oh, I guess I should post about myself. The only thing I ask, please, is no religious stuff (being a pagan or a heather or something like that). I love everything else about Christmas, though. Bright colors, glitter, sparklies, I’m all in! I love purple also.
I like funky earrings, purple, & kitteh-themed stuff. Handmade stuff is awesome!
P.S. To my Secret Santa last year…the soap you sent was SO fabulous that I tracked down a source for more! That single bar has lasted the whole year! (And it was PURPLE! And it had a KITTEH on it!)

Love purple and green, T-shirt size is XL, love chocolate and good-smelling bar soap (though only eat one of those two things), something local from your area would be fun. I’m a knitter. I always buy at least four calendars: Mensa Puzzle a Day, a weekly engagement calendar (usually Audubon or Sierra Club or similar), a small monthly for the bulletin board, and a big monthly for the wall. My Amazon wish list is under my real name – used is completely okay for books and CDs.
I’m in. I’m not real picky about colors. I like motorcycles, books on motorcycles, I also like travel books and books about people who’ve done strange trips. I’m easy to please.
I’m a history and math nerd. I love non-fiction books and collect keys and keychains. Favorite colors are red black and orange. I wear a 3xl -Tall shirt.

Green/blue/purple are always good choices. I’m a solid “medium” in clothes, and I like things that are pretty and/or practical but not kitzchy. How’s that for a start?
I’m in! I love honey in both smell and taste. My favorite colors are green and purple. I would enjoy something from the home town/area of the gift giver.
