Just got my outgoing package to the post-office this afternoon. The postal elf assured me that Santa’s sleigh and 8 tiny reindeer would be dropping it off by the 28th.
OK, I actually couldn’t get to the PO until Saturday morning. The clerk said that although my receipt says it’ll arrive by Tuesday the 22nd, Saturday the 26th is more likely. Grr. According to Mapquest I could walk it there by Friday morning. But no matter, this is just all part of the 2020 craziness and exceptional experiences. Belated presents are fun, too!
My package should have arrived yesterday. Fingers crossed!

Tracking is showing my package delayed. I has a sad.
I don’t know what I’m going to do if its lost. I drove 90 miles one way to buy the perfect noms and then drove all the way home without eating them. That was a huge act of self control which might not be able to be repeated anytime soon.
I finally managed to send my gift off on its transatlantic voyage - That was quite a task!
The gods ate chocolate and pooped gold!
I received mine today! Can’t open it yet, because my daughter loves to be a part of this whole experience, and she’s not home yet. I’ll follow up with more details tomorrow, but SS, know that it has arrived!
