My package is off and wending South!
I got a book today! Thanks Czarcasm! It’s The Gread British Bakeoff Big Book of Baking! I think it came from New York, not the UK, which is why it arrived sooner than expected. Anyway, I already am itching to try some of the things in there. Thank you again!
To my giftee, your package is somewhere in transit within the US Postal System. It is currently showing an on time delivery for 12/26, but I’m not holding my breath. I’m thinking it may be more of a New Year’s gift.
Mine is also saying “In Transit”, unfortunately.

My giftee is still waiting on his/her “in transit” package as well, which is a big disappointment.
Our housekeeper’s adult son, his wife and their 3 children are living with housekeeper and because of lost jobs/COVID, she is struggling to support everyone. We have been doing what we can to help her out while allowing her to keep her pride.
A lady in the area makes and sells wonderful pies for holidays and gives the profits to animal rescue. I always buy a pie and over tip her.
Yesterday, I was checking the tracking on my package and suddenly thought to call the pie lady and ask if she had time to add another pie to the 47 she was already committed to. She agreed, and when I paid for both pies, I gave her housekeeper’s number and asked her to text her and tell her that she had a pie ready to pick up from Santa. I just saw housekeeper driving past our house with a big smile on her face.
So, to my giftee, you inspired me to help make someone else happy for Christmas

My giftee gets most of the credit, they are the one who inspired me. I just checked tracking and their package has been found!
Received my box yesterday…sorry, I forgot to post about it. Will open tomorrow!
So glad I held out - I got to unwrap prezzies on Christmas morning!
Thank you for the chocolate overload, and the two mugs. The giant one is gonna be my new favorite, I can already tell. I love sunflowers, and I don’t think I posted that!
Oh, and I was also gifted not one, not two, but THREE mini bottles of barbecue sauce. Yum!

I’m not too surprised given how late the exchange was and how busy the various postals have been, I’m just double checking.

I received lots of yummy candies, assorted mini bottles of booze (perfect for adding to hot cocoa!) and some coffee and a coffee mug from a local coffee shop.
Additionally, there were some fuzzy slippers, artisan soap, a super cute purse back of tissues and a scalp massager. Both my cat and my dog received goodies as well!
I feel very blessed!
Just opened my box of goodies! Wonderful stuff~ adorable cat socks (two of my joys in one, kitties and fun socks), artisan handmade soaps, winter scented wax melts, a new pizza cutter of my favorite kind (how did you know mine had given up the ghost?), a mini-USB stick-all the better for carrying around granddaughter and new grand baby in July pictures, a Sunshine State mug of generous proportions (yeay!), and some very special enamel pins from authentic Disney-themed for Bippidi-Boppidi-Boo!!! A glass slipper on a royal purple cushion, a teacup with two sweet palace mice, and the pumpkin coach. The piece de resistance is the BBBoo monogram pin. That one is going on my winter coat to keep my long, cold winter spirits up!
Some other goodies in the stash too and all gaily wrapped. Doing my spirits great good.

Tracking shows that the package I sent arrived on Tuesday. I hope it arrived at the correct house.
So, so sorry - I haven’t sent out my package yet. I’m terribly scatterbrained and have been having health problems. But I’ll see if I can send something extra-nice.
According to tracking, my package has arrived in the city of destination and is “in transit to the destination”. This is exciting, its the first change in tracking since the 22nd.
Tracking says my package was delivered. I sure hope they found the right front porch!
Mine came in! A pound of Ocean City Blend coffee, a Pennsylvania shot glass and a Tullamore D.E.W. bar sign-Most excellent!

The stones are gorgeous, just need some sunlight to see the glory in the pink/mauve slice. The brittle is yummy. The goat milk soap smells divine. My future son-in-law called dibs on the jalapeño eggs. Mayme says ”mrow ” for the chase toys and treats. And the masks were a hit this past week.

I’m sorry. According to tracking, it sat at the local PO until 12/20/20, when it made its way allllll 20 miles east to St Paul, Minnesota.
As of 12/24/20 it says “in transit”.
The box has a long ways to go, too.
I’ll keep my eye out on tracking.
I’m so glad your Boxing Day prezzie arrived on time, LOL!!! The mylar wrapping paper was also for Mayme, it makes a delightful noise when walked or rolled on.
Quail eggs are always so iffy, but I figured that you would love them, or they would give you something to talk about for a while…“Can you believe what that crazy lady sent me?” I hope they aren’t too mild for FSIL.
