Moulds #2? Even without Price to balance their passing attack?
Buffalo has said that they want to run the ball more this year than they did last year. I like Moulds at WR 5 or 6.

Especially without Price. And even more especially if they’re going to run the ball more. Moulds doesn’t have to compete, numbers-wise, with Price, and he has the skills to beat just about anyone - so any time they pass, he’s in a prime position to make a big play.
Look at Minnesota’s “Randy Ratio” last year. They declare to the league that Moss (another WR w/o a competing #2 across the field from him) is going to get 40% of the offense directed his way. There’s no noticeable improvement, and the defense gears towards Moss, who ends up making fewer big plays as a result.
I expect the exact opposite to hold true with Moulds this year. More running means fewer, but more productive, plays from the passing offense.
I don’t think comparing Dwayne Bates to J. Reed is a fair comparison. I think Reed will get his this year. I’m not saying that to make the point that it will detract from Moulds, because I don’t think it will, but switching to a slightly more conservative offense while a decent (IMO) #2 guys steps up – a still very good year for Moulds, but aslight dropoff from last year.
We’ll see.
sorry munch. whether or not the bills declare to the league moulds is their only pass catching threat, everyone else has figured it out. that means safety help is moulds side each and every play.

Oh, and Munch, I agree with the others that you may have overvalued Moulds. He’s damn good and all, but he’s not “all that” as the kids say.
I don’t think you overvalued him, he was the next WR on my board when you took him, I just think that pipedreams of moulds being the #2 WR are a little lofty.
Thanks, mouth. Keep in mind, I never said that Moulds IS the #2 WR. I qualified that by saying he would be if TO and Moss screw up.
But I stratify my players by position, and Moulds is in the top grouping of WRs.
i agree moulds is a top WR, and he’s a steal, probably out perform the three WRs drafted ahead of him. but his numbers will be comparable to last years.
I put the “big 3” in a tier by themselves.
Then I have Moulds, Burress and Horn as another group, being more or less equal (roughly). After that these three is another dropoff, IMO.

He’s close, WL. I am just not sure – the “downgrade the WR in a new town” philosphy has a whole mountain of stats to back it up.
He’s a built like a brick shithouse and he’s incredibly fast for his size…but he’s got a whole bunch of history working against him this year. I’m anxious to see how he does.
