I don’t know WTF is wrong with AIM but it simply won’t let me register a username. Just like FGIE, I keep getting Tag errors and I don’t know how to resolve them. I have AOL IM name from a long long time ago, I might try to find my note and/or hook up that computer to get it. But that probably won’t work either.
And Ugh, Just found out I have a conflict Thursday evening. There is a chance I can get out of the later portions of the event and if so, I can be there for “shuffle up and deal” time.

To further illustrate:
Suppose we always have ten players. Player A always finishes either first or tenth. Player B always finishes fifth or sixth. Player C finishes all over the place, finishing first, second, third, etc. equally. Taking a nonweighted average, all would be rated 55.
But with the log-weighted average, Player A gets a 71, Player B gets a 50, and Player C gets a 59.

So Oslo’s formulas is not linear as there is a diminishing return effect. that is probably the way it should be.
