actually since i seem to be on a current downard trend i think this characterization is a little harsh.
i prefer to think of it more in the terms that i am just not performing as well in relation to the other players.

Yeah, I realized it after I logged out. I posted this in the other SDMB thread, but the fricking dog puked all over everything, and in my horror, I lost my mind. I thought I had all-inned to NFMensa so I could clear my chips, but as I clicked to close the window, I saw I had some left.
Sorry. I shall lose on purpose next week to redeem myself.

If you didn’t fold Fours full of Queens, pre-flop, or if you didn’t get everyone else to fold to your pocket jacks pre-flop, I don’t want to hear it.
Or if you didn’t have to move all-in on pocket K-J off, just to have someone call you, because they held pocket Kings, yeah, I still don’t want to hear it.
I think I made the most chips last night by playing 7-2 off, twice. :eek:

i was merely making an observation surrounding my stellar play the last two weeks. it seems like every i hand i get is a winner on the subsequent flop.
premature expectation, i guess.
I was on tilt after I flopped 3 sixes when I was in the big blind holding A-6. I check the flop hoping someone would bet. No one did. a 5 came on the turn. I checked, no one bet. Another 5 hit the river, giving me 6’s full boat. Damn Ghost had pocket fives and hit quads at the end.
OUCH!
If luck wasn’t part of this game, I would win every time.
of course that was after i sucked out on Creole with a river flush after she spiked an ace on the turn to go ahead of my Q’s.
