I’m planning on playing. I’d only skip if I’m invited to a dinner which since no one has offered so far is probably not happening. So weight me at %90.

Not sure if it gets nationwide coverage, but it’s a big deal here in Atlanta. IMHO it’s always anti-climatic, but I would kick myself for missing it.

It looked for a second there, that I might have been able to make it last night. However we ended up playing Acquire. I didn’t have enough time after the game ended to make it.
It was my copy of the game, [Found the 68 3M version 100% complete for 10 bucks.] and they cleaned my clock. Came down to fight or flight on the leading horse in the game and I thought it would be ripped apart by the other players, so I stayed out of it.
Yeah. That worked real well.
But, I think it went over real well with the family, more so than Quiddler.
I think half of us were ready to play another game [75 minutes minimum game time] after it but it just didn’t work out.

Nobody loaded the game…we could login but couldn’t register for the game.
I just watched Oslo outlast 1710 players in a facebook free roll. unfortunately he needed to outlast two more players to win. As it is, he won a dime ticket.
of course he would have won a dime ticket if he came in 250th. he spent about 3 hours extra trying to win a $1.10 ticket. And came up two players short. 3rd place.
But it is an impressive achievement.

You join up, get the password when posted (ten minutes before game time - 1 and 7 central), and play the games at your pstars account. You can late register up to 20 minutes after the tournament begins, which I recommend, due to the all-in assholes in the early stages of tournaments like this.
And congrats to NFM.
A bit of background: Pokerstars has one freeroll going, which has only one reqirement: the password. Place in the top 250 of that tournament, and you get a ticket to a dime buy-in tournament.
Friday afternoon, NFM cashed in both, which were played simultaneously.
We are not worthy.

And Oslo pretty much explained it. It is a cross promotion between facebook and pokerstars.
You can find passwords here.
The free roll tournaments start at 2 and 8 pm EASTERN time and the passwords are available 10 minutes prior to the start of the tournament. And as Oslo said, you can register up to 20 minutes late (w/o penalty). Many of the All-in Maniacs are busted out. There is usually about 1500 players in the freeroll, the top 250 win a ticket to a free roll that are also played twice a day at 2 pm and 8 pm EST.
Generally, you can get to the top 250 by lasting 1.5 hours. If you can build your stack up to 6000 chips, you can “bot” and get your ticket. Places 2-250 win a dime ticket, #1 wins a $1.10 ticket which will get you into a more lucrative free roll. Oslo almost got there last night. Came up two players short.
