Secret Santa 2002!

I have heard from my giftee. The gift willgo out sometime late next week. Tomorrow, Monday, I will be in the hospital and not in the mood for shopping. At least it’s just an out-patient thing. And I do have ideas for two gifts, one homemade and one purchased. Sometimes just deciding what to get is the hardest!

My giftee has not posted either. Have you thought of doing a search on your person to see what they are like? IMHO and MPSIMS are really good places to look for starters.

This is how I’ve found out about mine. Just hope this person likes what I’ve decided on as these prezzies are based on things mentioned in threads…

Mine has posted here, but ambiguously, so I’ve also run a search on her user name. I’ve got ideas fermenting in the back of my brain. (he he he!)

Green Bean, have you been hugged lately? If not, consider this your (((((((QUASI-HUGG))))))))) for what you are doing. The Christmas Spirit is alive and well thanks to you!

Quasi

hear hear! three cheers for Green Bean!

One addition to my wish list (but it’s the last thing that should be looked for):

The 1960’s era Time-Life Science Library book “The Body”. I got the rest of the series from my grandparents (they were cleaning their library out and sent me what I asked for. They didn’t have that one book, though.)

Thanks!

Robin

Your great Green Bean.

Thanks for handling this.

Yep, *Green Bean, you’re the best.

Hmm…no wish list for my giftee either. snicker That means I get to decide.

Gah…

Sorry I took so long to post a wish list… but I was on my honeymoon, please forgive me!

Books: can’t go wrong, really. If looking at novels, I prefer sci-fi fantasy. Or a psuedo-science book. But basically any non-fiction book would be cool.

Music. Anything but R&B. Honestly. Anything.

Movies. IF (and it might be a big IF) you can find any old (silent, 1930s etc) films that fit under the budget. Like The Thief of Baghdad (it’s not under the budget, as it only just came out here, but that sort of thing)…

If you stick to those… I’ll be a happy camper. If you bought something already, that’s just as cool, whatever it is.

Now if only my dark, mysterious SantaStranger would post a wish list.

**Green Bean ** Did you get my email?

I got mine too. And its someone I like and admire!
Now what to get…

I am one who has not posted a wish list…and guess karma has bitten me back, because neither has my person! This will prove for an interesting exchange!

I have posted no list cause I want to be surprised!

Ok, got my name, but they haven’t posted a wish list on the board. POST THAT WISH LIST!!!
Course I haven’t posted mine either so neaner to ya. I enjoy candles, turtles, and anything from the person’s area where they live (that would be totally cool) such as a coffee cup, etc. with your home town on it.

I think mine is male. Let’s hope so or I’m in trouble. We really do need those wish lists folks.

shirley–No I didn’t get it! I mailed the info to the email addy listed in your profile. Please post here to let me know you got it.

A little late but here’s my wish list:

I like items from other cultures such as fabrics, toys, musical instruments, jewelry, beads, etc. (the more primitive the better)

I like biographies (used is ok)

A used CD is ok too. Send me something you’re fond of.

Have fun, I’m easy to please.

Okay, since everyone’s screaming for wish lists, I guess I’ll put mine up.

Candles, science fiction, fantasy, music (any kind, really), Jack the Ripper, calendars, anything from my giver’s home town, anything out of the norm… and, as far as I’m concerned, risque’ isn’t a problem, if the giver is so inclined. No kids to worry about here.

Yeah! I got my victim…errrr…Secret Santa Type Person.

Only this individual did not post a wish list. I need some guide lines here…

Whomever is my Secret Santa…uh…is it too late to put in another idea to help them?

Something indigenious (whatever) to their location…(coffee/Travel mug/oven mitt or an unholy combo of all three " Oven Travel Mugs"

I also collect souvenier fridge magnets.

I am a greedy wench

I got my gift to send. It goes out in tomorrow’s mail, and I hope they like it. I would. And I hope they like coffee, or tea, or cocoa. And I hope they like Louisiana themed items, because they never posted a wish list. However, thankfully I’m creative.
