I don’t know…I never learned to read 
Ok really it’s called “Last Days of Summer”, but the funny thing about it is the writing itself is funny. When you flip through the pages you don’t just see words and paragraphs or the occasional in-text picture. Almost all of the writing are in full-out letters (with Top Secret on the top) or ticket stubs…I’ve seen a box score in there, a couple graphs, a Rorshach (spelling) ink blot test or two…the book itself looks like a riot

They had some strange flavoured honey too…but I couldn’t wrap my head around mint-flavored honey so I played it safe. That’s all Michigan-made stuff from the Flint Farmers market. (Flint doesn’t have a whole lot going for it but it does have a really wonderful, year-around farmers market.)
And Shirley Ujest has outdone herself - I got another package but I’m going to be a good girl and wait until Christmas morning (or until it snows, whichever happens first but we’re not expecting snow anytime soon) so thanks and I will post when I open!

I checked in local bookstores and they didn’t have it, so I found it on Amazon, and thought well…it’s not very cozy, but it works! I LOVE that book. A prof at CU assigns it for his History of Baseball class. It’s a funny read and you said you liked sports.
MY PRESENT CAME! Holy smokes! I was blown away! Sponge candy! I’ve never had it but my mom talks about it. It’s her favorite. Ironically, I was trying to find some good-rated stuff to send to her that was under $30 and gave up since she raves about it so much. I snapped a pic and sent it to her so she could be jealous.
And licorice and more candy! My son was happy with the box as well.
And post cards! I love the post cards. I love everything. That was way more than $10 and Zjestika is the best. Seriously overdone. Seriously awesome.
Sadly, aside from the soap my mom sent (why does she do that? I never use the soap no matter how many times she sends me soap) and the soap I got from a student (more acceptable gift but are people telling me I smell?) and the coffee from another student, this was my only gift this year. I love it. Thank you. Well, there was the sewing machine my dad’s (slightly dim) girlfriend bought me…the one that I pretty much already have. 
I’m super psyched. I ate sponge candy for dinner.

Yay! I’m glad you liked everything! I love sponge candy, so when you said something about old fashioned candy that was the first thing that came to mind. That and the ribbon candy, which I’ve never had. And I really did spend close to $10, no more than $15- I’m a very smart shopper! That’s part of the fun part for me. Merry Christmas, Citizen Pained! No gift here yet. Mine got sent to the southwest via priority today. Hopefully it will make it in time!
My gift went out yesterday, via USPS–whose elves could not assure delivery before Christmas. Bah Humbug! If you see a package with Disney characters on it, that’s from New Mexico, it made it despite the blizzard. LOL
Seriously, I hope my Santee likes it - and yes there is something in there that is fragile.
