Shame on those that refuse the vaccine

And violating his First Amendment rights!

It may be that the best thing is to find a narrative style the anti-vaxxers can buy. So, to that end, I wrote this Old Testament-style pastiche about the past couple of years.

(For those of you not used to Twitter, the link takes you to a 27 (or so) “tweet thread” which is read by clicking on the bottom tweet. The link is to the first tweet, they are all numbered, and the last tweet is a near carbon copy of the first tweet. You’ll see.)

Well, I found out yesterday that Covid 19 and stupidity have claimed two of the Typo Clan, fringe version.

My cousin, 49 and my Uncle, 80. Both solid Trumpers and Covid 19 Deniers, of course, unvaccinated. Cousin brought Covid 19 into the house he shared with his father. Father then contracted it and died quickly. Cousin is in medically induced coma after having a heart attack during his hospitalization and is not expected to survive.

I am certain cousin denied Covid 19 right to his last conscious breath.

Morons.

Self-inflicted though it may have been, I’m sorry for your loss. Even dumbasses usually leave behind loved ones.

Ah yes, the slogan for my failed funeral home business.

I’m so sorry.

Anything to not bow down to the Libs, I guess

Was it worth your life??

Good luck finding any gig which does not require you to certify your vaccination status.

Maybe Emilio Estévez will produce a show whose cast he can join.

Cousin has passed away. Yet another casualty of stupidity and the demented ideology of the Right.

Uch. I’m so sorry.

What a bunch of idiots. Irony, I bow at your feet!

“I have been on ivermectin for 16 months, my wife and I,” Dr Bruce Boros told attendees at the event held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, adding: “I have never felt healthier in my life.”

The 71-year-old cardiologist and staunch anti-vaccine advocate contracted Covid-19 two days later, according to the head event organizer, Dr John Littell.

He also said: “Everybody so far has responded to treatment with ivermectin … Bruce is doing well.”

The Beast said sources close to Boros said he was gravely ill at his Key West home.

sad trombone

“I have been on ivermectin for 16 months, my wife and I,” Dr Bruce Boros Mr. Ed told attendees at the event held at the World Equestrian Center in Ocala, adding: “I have never felt healthier in my life.”“I’m as healthy as a horse”, before running through the steeplechase course.

Hey! Isn’t this commie pinko liberal socialism or something?

(Gee, Mister Wizard, how come the hospitalization rate is so much higher in the red core than on the blue coastlines?)

In fairness, he doesn’t have worms!

I seriously thought that was a typo or a joke.

Apropos of nothing, ‘Boros’ is a hungarian surname meaning (wine) drunkard.

'Twere I, I would be so tempted to name my child “Oro” (you know, Spanish for “gold”.)

Boros figured in the case of a Florida woman hospitalized with Covid, whose husband sued the hospital to force it to treat her with ivermectin. Boros wrote an ivermectin prescription for her, but did not have privileges at that hospital and while a doc there was willing to give her the drug, it wasn’t at the insisted-on higher dose. A judge found in favor of the hospital.

The woman, a teacher who died earlier this month after a long hospital course, was not vaccinated against Covid-19 according to the Palm Beach Post. Her husband blames the hospital over its refusal to treat her with the higher dose ivermectin and is planning further legal action.

He says the state should name a law after her.

It’s also the name of a great professional golfer.
