She called me a nerd

There’s a show on TV talking about the curvature of space. I said to the SO, ‘Space is flat. Einstein was curved.’ She said, ‘You’re such a nerd!’

Which reminds me…

186,000 miles per second.

*For you damned kids on my lawn: Back in the '70s there was a PSA campaign for the 55 mph speed limit: ‘55 mph. Not just a good idea, it’s the law.’

The other day I was watching a show on the Science Channel. You know, the kind of show that has people like Michio Kaku and Phil Plaitt talking about stuff in space. They had a woman speaking about stuff too. She was a complete babe, and she was speaking nerdspeak.

Yes, it was hot.

Smart = Sexy.

I’d always heard that one as “Gravity. It’s not just a good idea, it’s the law.”

Usually spoken after someone falls down the stairs.

I hope you thanked her for the kind compliment.

“She called me a nerd…”

… so I hit her with my slide rule.

Yeah, I’m not getting it either…

If I find a good chemistry joke I’ll save it for you, even if I have to put my neon it.

Yeah, consider me lost on that one, too. I understand all the symbols, but don’t get it.

OK, since you asked nicely…

It’ll be music to your ears, I’m sure. Sorry, I calcium like I see’em.

Did y’all know that cats are liquids?

Only one person in a million would get that joke. We call that the Dennis Miller Ratio.

May the dp/dt be with you.

I want more information on the lady tdn mentioned.

Are there any good Sodium jokes?

Na.

I think her name is Amy.

The show was either on the series The Planets or How the Universe Works on the Science Channel.

She’s a brunette.

Glad I could be of help.

Amy Mainzer perhaps?

That’s her.
