Alternately, assuming that you could talk your mother into letting you you could fly over. I’m perfectly willing to arrange transit from virtually any airport that I’m close to.
Why not check out your local branch of Voyages Campus or whatever el cheapo travel place serves your local university population? They gave me really cheap fares to Winnipeg last November.
