This is LaurAnge, from the SDMB (in case you haven’t
figured that out yet). I noticed the Queerdope thread
has been flagging, and as there was no date actually
set and the orgy was cancelled, I figure we need to
start over.
So, I’m willing to do a large part in organizing the
Dopefest, if it’s in Montreal. Whether or not we want
to keep it Queerdope is one question, and when to have
it is another. If you guys are interested, or have
suggestions, please email me. If I get enough
responses to abandon the Queerdope idea and just go
for a cool, all-inclusive Montreal Dopefest, I’ll start
a new thread.
I hope it works out, 'cause I really wanna meet all of

LaurAnge, I just got your email. The middle of July… hmm… I don’t think I have any weddings to attend. (I have one on the 13th, though; even if I wanted to [which I don’t], I couldn’t ditch it, since it’s an old family friend’s wedding)
Of course, there is the little problem of my getting across the country… but I am interested if this happens! Let me know, okay?

Sorry. Mid-July I’ll be in an area of the country that’s so remote I won’t even have access to a telephone. And that’s just the base camp.

Right, so I don’t know about Mid-July (I’m going to TorDope, after all), but I am without question going to Montreal for Pride in August.
If there needs to be separate fest-ing, then let that be. But Lauren, Matt, will you be around for Pride and up for some Andylove?
Dates:
Anytime in June: Possible, as far as I know, although pretty close.
July: matt is in Spain.
August: I’m personally leaving on the 5th of August (I think) for Europe, so I may or may not be able to meet you for a quick hug.
The best date then seems to be one suggested further up for the now-defunct orgy: June 22.
