I have it on vinyl.
Yes, I lived in Canada in the eighties. And the nineties. And the zeros. And… Wait. I’m getting ahead of myself. I have Black Noise on CD, though any other FM and Nash the Slash is on vinyl. And damned difficult to find, even in used shops here in Toronto. Ever since the Vinyl Museum and Incredible Records closed…

I actually met Nash the Slash once. He’s so nondescript looking in RL that I can’t remeber a thing about his appearance. Terribly annoying.

Sweet! I have been a long time fan of Worst Case Scenario and In a Bar, Under the Sea. I was ordering some DVDs on Amazon yesterday and on a whim, I checked out to see if dEUS put anything else out. They had a 1999 album I completely missed! I ordered it. AS an import only, it cost me $21.00. Any thoughts on the Ideal Crash album? I am eagerly waiting to hear it.
I was listening to Liszt earlier, but right now Sisters of Mercy Floodland. I may listen to the Cars first two albums later. Feel you know me better? The band that is most “me” is probably Violent Femmes, no wait, DEVO, no er…Slayer…um…Psychedelic Furs?
The Pleasure and The Greed By Big Wreck.
Only 5 or so years in h emaking and totally worth the wait. I’m loving this album.
Loser Anthems, B sides and Rarities By the Matthew Good Band.
Also new, also excellent.
Undertow BY Tool
Need I say more?
Holy Roller By The Rev. Horton Heat.
Another great CD. I love the whole rockabilly sound. Every time I hear “Bales of Cocaine”, or “cowboy Love” I can’t help but sing along. I get the weirdest looks. I don’t know why…
The Compleat Birth of the Cool By Miles Davis
Once again, need I say more?
And as a slight hijack…
Speaking of Rammestien, I was pleasantly suprised the otherday when I turned on the TV. The new video for Links 2-3-4 is actually getting a bit of air play.
