Did you read my whole post? No, I didn’t call the cops because he was driving too slow, but because he was demonstrating many of the properties of a criminal. Every big city &/or mass transit program that I know of has a, “If you see something, say something” campaign. We saw what we thought was a criminal so I said something. If you are going to drink & drive, I will give you my real address so that you know to stay away. I don’t like scum who maim &/or kill innocent people.

It’s cool and cloudy, looks like it’s going to rain.
Today is go to the armpit day. I think we’ll leave around 10, which gets us there around noon. We need to give the dog a bath before we leave, his bed is in the washer.
The dog is such a brat, won’t let us put his harness on him so we can help him up the stairs. If he wasn’t so old I’d not let him get away with his bad behavior.

Y’all miss me yestiddy? I was gonna sneak in a post of two from the church house but things got real busy. More people than we originally expected signed up and we had to get extra foodstuffs. The final head count was 165 folks! We did it though. Go Us!
Today’s plans include deheathenization and N.O.L. somewhere. I’d just as soon come back to da cave and make sammiches. I plan on an afternoon of sloth cause I’s still tahrd from yestiddy. Got home at eight-thirty, took a shower and went beddy bye. Fortunately we did have sense enough to set the clocks up an hour last night. Oh and I have ush duty this mornin’. Rah.
I read but retained little so yays, boos, hugs, wedgies, noogies, trouts, chitlins, how you doin’s all around as needed.
OK, I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then purtification for deheathenization must commence.

I’ve made dozens of those calls over the years with a surprisingly high positive rate. If he wasn’t intoxicated the officer will let him go. If he was tired a set of blue lights do a good job of waking him up, and tired driving is just as dangerous (though easier to correct).
Don’t panic if you felt a disturbance in The Force - I dusted. :eek: And vacuumed. :eek: And **FCD **cleaned the bathrooms. :eek: And I’ve got laundry going. :eek: Too much domestication in one day!
While **FCD **was out riding yesterday, he stopped at the Harley dealership and found out they were all going out for Italian, so he asked if I wanted to go, and I said OK. We got there around 5:30. They didn’t even start taking dinner orders till nearly 6:30. It was 6:50 and the ONE server for over FIFTY in our group hadn’t even taken half of the orders, and we were at the end of the line. I was getting a screaming headache, because I hadn’t had anything but a handful of peanuts since breakfast. So we left.
Yes it was Saturday night and lots of folks eat out on Saturday, but if you can’t manage a large group with more than one server, maybe you shouldn’t accept the reservation. It was about 7:30 when we got home and I had some of the chickie rice soup I’d made for our supper. It wasn’t very good, but I don’t really like chickie rice soup - I prefer noodles… Anyway, not a good evening. Then a rough, short night, and I’m just a wreck.
A guy just came to the door - apparently Higgs had gotten out of the side gate. **FCD **just went out and secured it. Idiot dog…
And on top of all of that, it’s dreary and icky out there. <sigh>
Howdy Y’all! Home from deheathenization. We stopped at MickeyD’s and grabbed a burger. Well, we didn’t just like reach in and grab burgers, we ordered and paid like couth and civilized people should. Anywho, here at da cave and foresee nappage shortly.

Haven’t been around the boards much lately. Been busy.
Been working on music arrangements, but my music-work computer is in the shop at the moment, so I have a bit of time to hang around here.
I thought it was only doggio, ruble, & I who went for heathenization & all others went for deheathization. Glad to know you’re a no-goodnic, too!
In this particular case it was paying way to much attention to the little electronic device, but no matter the cause, the results can be just as horrific.
I only felt a little bit bad because it kinda sounds like he was away from home & sick & trying to get something to cure himself. Doesn’t excuse it, though, & yes, I’d make the call again.
We let DQ make supper and dessert because *someone *in this house wanted a peanut buster parfait. Good for me - no cooking and no dishes.
It’s been a rough, busy day. We’ll see what kind of week is ahead for me.

Between last night & this afternoon, I got a good, normal seven hours of sleep; unfortunately, dinner is now cooking & the day is shot. 
It rained but I still fired over the smoker. I smell like a wet campfire but the pork came out fantastic. Now how to re-purpose all the leftovers.
Me too. Dined at Olive Garden and over-consumed, which always puts me to sleep after, so I have just arisen from a 3-hr nap, which will screw up my sleeping tonight, which will mess up work, which…yeah, I’m whining. I’ll get better.
Wet days and no sun make the SSR a dull boy.
spidey, not only do I heathenate, but I’ve been known to bowl and karaoke with the heathens too!
I had some of Moooom’s luck with restaurants at lunch. Our group makes reservations at a local brewery. There are usually 50-75 of us and service has been mostly good. But not today. Three of the 15 people at my table, myself included, never got our meals. Even after checking several times. We didn’t even get drink refills. When most of the crowd got up to leave, I spoke with the manager.
Lunch was a Burger King salad. What a letdown.
Supper, on the other hand was my own cooking: a sriricha cheeseburger and a salad.
I feel like I should go to bed but it’s not bed time. This stinks! OYKW is at his place because he has a six a.m. home monitorin’ to do, poor thing. He’ll be draggin’ all day tomorrow.
I think I shall stare at teevee for a while and maybe sleepy time will commence.

Ignorance is bliss when it comes to my family. There are things I’d just rather not know.
I found out Niece 2 has moved in with my mother, no surprise there. Now how long before all four boys are there?
I brought home two doggie bags, one with leftovers from dinner, roast beast, potatoes, corn and carrots. Another with her leftovers from a restaurant on Saturday night, Chicken Pot Pie. That will be four meals.
It rained the whole drive home, I’m exhausted. Trying to get a little irk in before bed.
