As promised, here is a quick rundown on my current feelings regarding the players in the Game:
Johnny Bravo: I think he is probably Town. I do not see why a Scum player would push so hard for one player. Once I am out of the game, what will be Johnny Bravo’s fallback position? “Oops?” That would be a mighty dangerous game for Scum to play. Read: Townish.
Kimble: Too quiet. I appreciate Post’s like #207, where Kimble points out that the voters on Johnny Bravo being the same as the voters on** Prof. Pepperwinkle**. I hadn’t noticed this. This is the kind of postings we need. Unfortunately, they have been few and far between this game. It still bothers me that after Prof. Pepperwinkle’s suicide post, that Kimble (Post #134) only responds to protest the Professor’s vote switch to him, and does not comment on the player’s impending suicide at all. On the other hand, I think Scum would likely find themselves scarce at that time, and Kimble did post. Read: Slightly Scummish.
**
Precambrianmollusc**: A leading vote-getter on Day 1 gets no votes at all on Day 2. It’s quite strange, until one considers that the Day 1 vote was merely based on** PCM**’s reasonless vote of Mahaloth. Way too quiet until very recently, but I still get a Town vibe. Read:Townish.
septimus: I don’t think Scum would write in verse all Day on day 1. I think Scum do not want to stand out on Day 1 at all. The few Posts on Day 2 have been much more helpful —which, if I read #217 right, is a Scum tell in septimus’ mind? Not in my mind so much. Read: Townish
snfaulkner: Believe it or not, snfaulkner has the second highest post total in this game after Professor Pepperwinkle (who has been dead a week). That’s a lot of postings basically saying he doesn’t know what is going on. He voted for Professor Pepperwinkle and wasn’t around at the EOD… just a few minutes afterwards. Read: Scummish.
TexCat: She was the first to vote for Professor Pepperwinkle. I think TexCat has good Scum hunting sense but I think she was also wrong about PCM on Day 1. PCM may be Scum, but I don’t think there was much evidence on Day 1 to support it. Is her scumdar turned off this time? She has been much more silent in this game than I have seen in other games. But then, so has everybody. Read: Neutral.
Fair Rarity: Johnny Bravo has gone all plum pudding with his disgust that no one will comment on his case against me. But what about my case against Fair Rarity? Are we really going to allow a player to post this little? The only time Fair Rarity seems to reply is when she is called out. I don’t have a bunch of suspicious posts to point to because there have been so very few. My only note entry in her favor is that she might not know that Mahaloth was an experienced player and would thus have little reason to kill him the first round. But if she is just as quiet on the Scum boards then she probably wasn’t the one to suggest it. Her play is anti-Town — much more anti-Town than other players receiving votes, IMHO. Read: Scum.
Like last week, I will be at work and only able to post around 4pm during lunch— probably too late to do anything about it if Johnny Bravo gets the wagon rolling on me. However, if any other Town players try and commit suicide, I will do my best to talk them out of it then. Actually, in case I arrive too late, could someone else do it this time?
