So lets be clear here, when you pulled a knife and slashed these seats which city were you in? I’ve walked around Phonmh Penh, Cambodia at 3AM in pretty dodgy areas and I didn’t carry a knife with me. In fact in my entire adult life including living in Brixton in London for four years of that time I never needed to carry a knife. So exactly where where you where you “needed to be carrying” ?

You have to understand… despite all those really dangerous places you’ve
been, have you ever encountered a girl on her cell who would just. Not. Shut. Up?!! Duh. The two things just aren’t comparable and you should thank your lucky stars every day that you’ve never faced anything quite that scary. You’d have to pull out your knife then too and do some pretty significant damage to upholstery to feel safe.

Since there are no traces of that in both trees, the socio is more likely. You should also know that a lot of Americans do carry knives with them. Some do it legally by limiting blade length and manner of employment, others carry specified illegal weapons without having a care for laws. They’re hobbyists for the most part.

This will take me out of the running for the most admired doper, but I pulled a knife on a girl inside a passenger bus. I didn’t cut her or even invade her space. We were sitting beside each other and I took out my knife, slashed the back of the seats in front of us, and then put the knife away as quickly as I took it out.

Bolding mine. You went slashy-slash on the seat. Irrelevant whether it was the clear vinyl layer or all the way through to the colored vinyl. You slashed it to get a girl to stop talking on her phone. Suffice it to say you know absolutely nothing about how to carry and use a knife responsibly.
