Sleeping attire/habits?

Just my white Fruit of the Looms. I’ve never been able to wear boxers.

I do have to have two pillows though, one under my head, one over, sleeping on my side.

Naked, because it helps the farts escape faster. You don’t want to trap that kind of thing any longer than necessary.

nude - all year.

Generally a T-shirt and shorts, sweat pants if it’s cold. Occasionally naked, especially after snoo-snoo, but I generally don’t because I’m naturally shy about my body, and I tend to have anxiety dreams if I sleep naked.

I sleep with my wife.

Depending on the season, the company and the hormones, I wear a woven cotten nightgown (sleeveless, mid-calf, if you must know :stuck_out_tongue: ), gym shorts and a tee shirt, a long flannel gown, or flannel PJs, socks with the latter two (sexxxay…).

Most of the week, I sleep alone, with a good book and lots of pillows on a queen sized bed. Once or twice a week, I share a bed with the Fella, queen sized bed either place.

I like a light (for reading) on to fall asleep and then when I wake up to use the bathroom, take my glasses off and turn off the light. Fortunately, my bedmate falls asleep reading too.

Naked all year. Can’t stand the pulling and constrictions of clothes while sleeping…I barely tolerate them when awake.

Year round nude.

Is ten years considered an exceptionally long time for a shirt to last? I have plenty that are older than that that I still wear in public. I have a few that are closer to twenty years old.

As for me, I generally sleep nude, except if it’s really cold, in which case I wear either flannel pajamas or fleece footie jammies. If it’s just a little too cold to be nude (and I always read in bed, so my arms and upper torso are out of the covers quite often) I’ll put on a shirt of some sort. I have terrible insomnia and it takes me hours to fall asleep. Once I’m asleep I wake up fairly frequently, too. I sleep with at least two pillows for me plus one to prop up my Kindle on. I usually have one and can have up to three cats in bed with me. My husband sleeps in a separate room 95% of the time because our schedules are so different and he needs his sleep.

I sleep in pyjamas: winter ones (long sleeves, long pants) from roughly May until September, summer ones (short sleeves, short pants) from roughly October until April.

Sleep in my underwear.
Sleep with one cat, one dog.
I am a horrible sleeper. Usually fall asleep pretty fast but wake up quickly and can’t go back to sleep.
I usually have a fan running in the summer and a heater in the winter. I sleep in a queen size bed on top of a bedspread in an old sleeping bag. I have several, of varying warmth.
I have great difficulty sleeping anywhere else. I do a lot of camping and just accept the fact that I’m not going to get much sleep.

Another nudie here at my wife’s [del]command[/del] request. She likes her ability to grab and hold onto “something” as she falls asleep to be unobstructed …no, I’m not kidding. It’s a habit she’s gotten too used to, and there’s nothing sexual about it, at least not from my perspective.

It’s not as wonderful as it may seem, especially after many years and a number of fingernail scraping incidents. :frowning:

Male, sleep by myself. I’m usually t shirt, sweat pants at night. Sleep by myself. In the winter, I’ll occasionally put on a hockey jersey or sweatshirt.

Male, married, and Elliott Garfield said it best:

I sleep in the nude. “Au buffo.” Winter and summer, rain or snow, with the windows open. And because I may have to go to the potty or to the fridge in the middle of the night, and because I do not want to put on jammies which I do not own in the first place, unless you’re looking for a quick thrill or your daughter an advanced education I’d keep my door closed.

I generally sleep in pj pants and a t-shirt, or sometimes a long sleep shirt. My husband wears just pj pants or boxers. I have a hard time sleeping and generally take over-the-counter sleep meds and have the tv on with low volume. We also have 2-3 cats in the bed at any given time.

I used to sleep in the nude in summer but age and large breasts have taken a toll on me. I now wear a tank top and panties. I can tuck the tank top between my breasts which is more comfortable when the weather is hot.

In winter it is sleep shirts with long sleeves because I sleep with my arms outside the sheets. When I have a cold, I will wear a mock turtleneck to help keep my throat warm.

Male, sleep alone. I have sleep apnea, so I use a CPAP to sleep, which has a hose which goes to a machine. I hate collars and buttons, but I like to be covered up, so I wear a loose long sleeve tee shirt. I hate pajama pants that ride up, so I wear very loose bottoms with elastic at the ankle. If it’s too warm, I turn the fan on and if necessary open the window, rather than wear less clothing. (And really, I live in San Francisco, so it’s not too warm all that often).

I like to sleep on my stomach, even though it’s tricky with the CPAP (but I manage it) and even though after a while my back hurts (so I switch to one side or the other). I’m a fairly restless sleeper, I guess. I also like to sleep on my back, but I can’t do that for long because my jaw sinks down and air leaks between my face and the mask, escaping in little annoying fart-like sounds. Eventually this wakes me up and I turn over.

During the work week I always feel like I didn’t get enough sleep, at least when the alarm goes off; after I sleep in on Saturday, I always feel much more rested. I actually groan with pleasure sometimes just from the joy of sleeping.
Roddy

I sleep in undies, sometimes nude. Winter or summer it doesn’t matter. I can’t handle having clothes binding and twisting on me while I’m trying to fall asleep. I sleep alone…well, most of the time…my tuxedo kitty hops up on the bed at times. I let her stay if she doesn’t snore. Yes, she snores. If she starts then I kick her off the bed and tell her to sleep somewhere else. She listens most of the time.

Well, if you’re really insterested…

In Winter I often wear fleece pyjamas (matching top and bottom). In the Summer I can either wear a very short, sleeveless nightgown or a large t-shirt and underwear. I normally take a shower before putting on my sleep attire, which I do in the early evening because I like to hang around the house in my pjs for a few hours before sleeping.

I share the bed with my boyfriend and our dog. I have a hard time falling asleep if I’m not covered, so even if it’s really hot I like to have at least some light covering. I don’t have any super-specific bed requirements but clean sheets make the biggest difference for me. If the sheets are clean (not slept in yet) and I just showered and put on a clean set of pjs - I could fall asleep in an instant. Great feeling.

Nude all the time.

Mostly naked. If it’s very cold, I have flannel pyjama pants kicking around that usually are used as “bumming around the house” pants and throw on a t-shirt. If it’s very hot, loose cotton shorts and a tank top to stop my skin sticking to my other skin.

Never socks. Never ever socks. On an otherwise freezing night I will still stick my bare feet out from under the covers because they’re too hot.
