Howdy. Busy, busy day being the first. Happy May Day! I have not even read but will. We are off to Miami for a follow-up visit to the cardiologist at very early. Gotta arise at 0500.
I dread that all day trip. Hubby also sawzalled his hand today and had to get it sewn up. No major damage and it’s his non dominant hand so could be worse. He was on a 20 foot ladder when it happened. SMH

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 64 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. with a predicted high of 88 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. I was a slug a bed this mornin’ and slept in until 6:45. :eek: No big plans at all for the day which is fine by me. Sup shall be my world famous Eyetalian chikin, green beans, smashed N.O.T. and rolls. Not real imaginative but good. I think mayhaps I shall make use of the cee-mint pond for a while this afternoon just cause I can.
flytrap it was thick sliced bread (Texas toast is what it says on the bag) with garlic and cheese. I tried the frozen kind once and was not a fan.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy demands sustenance. Then, onward into the day. Rah.

Up at 6:45am, need to clean around the house a bit then take the garbage out. N.O.S. but a chance of rain this evening.

Blurf. We got 30 miles up the road to a standstill roadblock due to a fatal head on collision. Fatalities usually keep the road closed for hours while it’s being investigated. We turned around and came home. We rescheduled the appointment. I made a vet appointment for a toe nail trim for HRH LL.
I could go to irk but I’m not.

Roxy went down for a nap around 9:30, so I got to shower and dress. Final inspection (fingers crossed) between 11:30 and 1:30. Temps supposed to get near 90° so I’ll have to close up and turn on the stoopit a/c.

Back at work after being on vacation last week. One of my officemates is on vacation now, and all of next week; the other one will be on a trip next week. I’ve been threatening with playing music in the office 
There is some sort of renfaire thing in one of the area’s many castles this weekend. The weather report says it’s going to be cold and more likely to rain on Sunday than on Saturday. The castle has turned out to be barely 10km away from my house, so plans for Saturday include going out to the renfaire for lunch, having a look around, probably spending money on some stuff I don’t need, and then a bit of grocery shopping on the way back.

It’s bright and N.O.S. outside, supposed to get up to 82 today.
I too don’t get into movies. Then again I don’t get into the current TV shows either.
I really should have cut the cable. Maybe I still will.
I ordered groceries this morning to pick up this afternoon, have done some laundry.
I’m debating getting a pressure washer. The guy next door said we could borrow his, but he says a lot of things and doesn’t follow through.
So on with the day. I have lots to do, and it seems like nothing ever gets done.
Back from the Veterinarian where you’d think Louie was being tortured. He screams the entire time and he’s never been quicked. Big old baby. I thought he was getting fat but he is still at the 10lbs he’s been at forever.
We stopped at the Pubic store on the way home from our 60 miles jaunt this morning and I finally got the beef roast I’ve been craving but since we had beef last night it shall be for tomorrow. Hubby’s friend that visits often is coming in later today for just one night. He’s coming down to get some stone crabs for the last time this season. The season ends on May 15.
I did let my boss know my day is now annual leave and not sick since we didn’t make it to the Dr. He was good with that as I really did a ton of stuff yesterday in anticipation of being out today.

But on the good side I’ve had meatloaf for dinner (what? meatloaf again?) three days in a row. I am much happy as that is my favorite food.

I think I’ll have to quit going into Cafe Society. Half the threads in there are about Game of Thrones or Avengers, neither of which I will see until I can view them at home. :mad:

Howdy Y’all! I spent the day pretty much in sloth mode. I binge watched some Nurse Jackie, tried out the cee-mint pond (water was cold but refreshin’) and made sup which has been consumed. Thus does sloth continue.
It eventually did. We didn’t have the office walls on the plans, so the inspector said he couldn’t sign off till we amended the plans with the county. So $20 later, that was taken care of. Looks like we’ll be pulling wire this weekend. Rah.
Roxy is still awake, but her dad is usually pretty good at getting her to sleep. We shall see.
And I’m about to watch Jeopardy - will James win #21?? Probably.
