Honestly, we do this every time Bosda posts one of his little “Look at this, its so outragious” pit threads.
There are assholes everywhere, stealing from soldiers, raping kids, beating dogs I just don’t see why some people feel the need to post them regularly. I am not saying it should never be done but some people get a little one trick ponyish about it.
So, no belligerence or medication just expressing my opinion, last time I checked that is allowed.

I can’t speak for what askeptic is up to, but I can say that I agree with his sentiment. It appears to me, and has for some time, that Bosda has essentially appointed himself the SD Newscaster, trolling the internet for outrageous (humorous, horrific, whatever) stories that he can post just to… I don’t know. Just to post? Just to keep us in the know? The OPs tend to be the same thing, over and over- link, snippet, maybe a line or two commentary, but nothing really insightful, and rarely something that would directly impact him, that would be comething I could understand him getting emotional enough over to take the time to post about. Then he leaves it up to others to provide the commentary. I have this weird sense that he posts, then sits back to watch everyone make his thread for him, nodding sagely and thinking “I made that happen. All those people are communicating about an issue because of me.” Like an MC or something. It doesn’t take any thought or planning or real effort at all, and I personally find it a bit insulting… like each one of Bosda’s posts has an undercurrent of “Dance, monkey!” to it.
It’s a shame he didn’t include his sig in the OP, because I have a few things to say about that as well.

Fine by me. I don’t watch TV news, nor do I read newspapers. I rely on the Pit for my informedness.

I’m continuously astounded by this type of complaint. There’s plenty of threads I’m not interested in, perhaps by posters who have a habit of making said threads, but I feel no compulsion to berate them about it. I simply don’t open the threads.
It’s so bizarre to me that someone would make the effort to open a thread they are uninterested in, let alone make a post.
Seriously, just don’t open the threads. If the title somehow deceived you into opening a thread, report it.
Revtim, your post was disgusting. Especially paragraphs 2 and 3. I had to read them four times each to understand how disgusting they were. I hate you for that.
I think Revtim should have put those paragraphs in a spoiler box, so that tdn would have had to go out of his way to read them, and thus be extra snarky in his subsequent complaint.

Bosda is the one coming back like a flaming asshole. I am constantly astounded by people who are astounded by people expressing thier opinions, in the pit of all places. Imagine, a person posting a critical comment about something posted in the pit. Are you sure you were astounded, cause if you were, thats just…astounding.
