Take me for instance, I have not previously noticed Bosda’s one trick poniness with respect to bringing up little snippets of upsetting news to the Pit. Given that, I was taken a bit aback at your shot across his bow. I’m like “WTF? Did Bosda crap in your cheerios this morning?” Not knowing the history… you look like a first class jerk.
Now, I can appreciate your frustration with his posting style, but really, if you want to Pit him over it, Pit him over it. Open a thread, link to a multitude of lousy OPs and make your case. If he’s just a minor annoyance, leave his threads unread. But don’t hijack his thread into an argument over his posting style, and leave the OP withering on the vine, it’s a bullshit way to Pit someone.
Personally, I’m not against people playing the NewsCaster role, often times you can get great discussions of much larger topics with a recent news story as the springboard. Sometimes, it’s just a “what a jerk” story, which this one appears to be, but who knows where it will lead?
Perhaps he leaves all the supernatural stuff to Parker.

I've honestly never understood why people will scan the newspapers eagerly so that they can be first to rush into the BBQ Pit with the discovery that "ZOMG!!!! People Suck!".
Bosda is a particularly irritating instance of this type of person because of his hair trigger and his penchant for overuse of exclamation points and emoticons.
Revtim, I think the answer is simple. askeptic has a dislike for **Bosda’s ** posts in the pit. As he makes them in the pit he is fair game for abuse.
While I agree with you, it is easier to ignore them, I actually see Askeptic’s point to some degree.

The answer is I just felt like it. Fuck, its not like any of us are doing anything important. We are just fucking around on the computer. Bosda has a habit of posting these threads. I just expressed MILD criticism and was willing to let it go. Then he responds with all the “fucking astro monkey” shit and other nasty comments.
I will ask you, am I not entitled to my opinion and can I not express it here in the Pit? Its not like I shit in any of his hundreds of similar threads in other forums.
What I really really want to know is …WHERE’S BOSDA?!
Is that really how it is with you? That’s interesting, it takes effort for me to notice and open and thread, it’s nowhere near like an intrusive noise that I can’t ignore. That would explain a lot of people’s behavior here, I guess.
