Of course you are, it just seems odd to me. I see it kind of like making an effort to attend a movie opening that’s showing a flick I don’t want to see, and berating the moviemakers and fans. Why not just not see the movie? It smacks of “I don’t like it, so nobody should see it/do it/read it”.
And sorry, yeah, is is kinda jerkish IMHO. Nowhere near bannable jerkishness, but it’s well in the jerk direction. It was certainly threadshitting; it would have been more appropriate to open a new threat pitting Bosda.

Why can’t any of the news-gathering organizations cited in the OP be bothered to tell us when the relevant events took place? When did the Marine die? When did the bank transfer the contents of the savings account to the funeral home? What does the bank say about why they did that? Was the court order issued with a requirement that the mayor personally recompense the Marine’s mother, or did the court order name the funeral home? When was the court order issued? Is there any reason that contempt of court proceedings have not been brought against the mayor? Has the Colorado Attorney General been petitioned in this matter?
Bosda is a fucking annoying retard. Thank God the admins at least told him to stop using ENORMOUS FONTS and eye-melting colors in his signatures (which he must think are clever, but never are), so he’s actually very slightly less annoying than he used to be. But askeptic’s list of links above is perfect - look at the driver’s ed pitting the dumbfuck posted - he threw his usual shitfit over possibly the most minor injustice that has ever occurred in history, and yeah, it was fucking annoying. He posts them constantly. They’re always stupid. Mostly they don’t even have any commentary. He just combs over the crime reports until he can find something to be outraged about. And yeah, recreational outrage sorta irritates me. But the bottom line is that every one of his threads is completely fucking worthless.
Should I have to carefully check who posted every thread I opened to make sure I don’t accidentally open one of this idiot’s blatherings? I don’t do that customarily. In fact, I sort of like the pittings of current events that many other posters do, because they’re about events that are in some way relevant, and they usually offer some insightful or at very least interesting commentary. But you can be sure that nothing that oozes out of Bosda’s keyboard will be remotely interesting. I’m just sick of running into his stupid freak-the-fuck-out-over-nothing threads.
His behavior is, bottom-line, annoying. askeptic called him on it in a pretty mild way. He doesn’t just limit it to pitting news stories; he panics quite easily too. Like with his recent thread on the bubonic plague in which he told us all to stop thinking about bird flu (because one case of bubonic plague is reason to lose your shit, if you, like Bosda, know absolutely nothing about it and have no particular interest in finding out. I was surprised to learn, though, that he also took the time to warn all of the board’s virologists (yeah, he mentioned them specifically in the title) about bird flu a couple years ago. Thanks, Bosda, because if it weren’t for you sharing the link to the BBC, none of the experts who actually handle those things would have known it! Because, you know, it’s not like the people whose job it is to deal with those things are aware of them. Seriously, if Bosda hadn’t posted that thread, none of us here in the U.S. would even know about bird flu! Well, that’s how it seems to be in Bosda’s stupid little world, anyway.

Well, I don’t particularly think of myself as a funny guy; it’s not really a major part of my self-conception, so while I’m pretty sure you furrowed your brows and vainly tried to insult me here, it doesn’t exactly sting. I regard my occasional moments of inspiration as just that - while it’s nice to make people laugh and I do it on occasion, it’s not something I particularly try for and I don’t think most people consider me standup material.
