I’m also teleworking again today. There was some patchy ice on my patio this morning (plus some ice on the car, which I didn’t *completely *clear off yesterday), so at the very least I probably would have gone in late, but then my boss emailed to say that she’d be remote. A meeting with her is all I have on my calendar today, so with no pressing reason to leave the house I’m staying home with my doggy. I’m taking tomorrow off to drive up to NJ, so I’ll see the office again on Monday.
And by waiting until just now to shovel the driveway, it took seven minutes, rather than the hour or so it would have taken yesterday.
ETA: Why did I even bother, you ask. The answer is, my wife had ankle surgery last month, and she’s got PT at 11am. And she’d feel less nervous if I didn’t have to drive over snow with her in the car.

This causes RTFirefly to be pelted w/ a snowball next time he opens this thread.
::runs & hides behind huge wall of shoveled snow::
Your snowball just melted.
Yesterday here. A beautiful spring day, sunny, temperature 8ºC, snow continuing to melt.
We always get one good snowfall in March. Why am I the only one who seems to remember this from one year to the next? (fnord)
