Hey guys! It’s been a while. A looooong while. Maybe five years or so? Not sure how many folks will remember me, but I was thinking nostalgically about the board and then I remembered that it’s still here.
I have to say, reading the In Memoriam thread was a whole lot of sad and unexpected all at once.
So yeah, since I was last around, I got my Ph.D. and two dogs. It’s amazing how much of my life those two things take up.

Yes indeed! Although I don’t live in Montreal anymore, which makes me weep daily. I’m still teaching at the university where I got my degree while I look for tenure-track jobs, so who the heck knows where I’ll be next year.
