I’m mostly here, but have registered at both splinter boards (and a refuge board). Those are my backup boards - in the very unlikely case of this one shutting down.
Well, I obviously don’t attend often enough to really know why the question would need to be asked. Is it something to do with Pit rules?
Anyway, since the question has been asked. My answer is: SDMB is my ‘posting’ board. In other words it’s the one I am quite happy to post in, instead of just lurk on.
I’ve been a member of two other boards for a few years. On both I tend to lurk. On one my join date is 12-24-2003 and I’ve made 2,330 posts. On the other my Join date is 8-31-2007 and I’ve made fifteen posts.
So I guess I’m too timid to post anywhere else. I’d be too timid to post on any splinter boards of the SDMB.
I’m staying here. This just seems like the right fit for me. I hope we’ll continue to attract new members to bring their perspectives to combine with the old-timers’.
Well, it’s a little more complicated than this, but it’s not too far from the truth. It’s about enforcing a greater level of civility in the Pit in particular. However, if we go any further discussing the meaning here, we’ll be hijacking the thread. I’d direct you somewhere else, but there are so many threads and posts I can’t really say which is the best to summarazie the issues. Browse through the ATMB forum

Actually, I’m just too lazy to go somewhere else. I’m all settled in here, got my comfy chair, know enough people… I’m good. The Pit was never important to me, anyway.

This is my home, but I see no reason not to visit a friend’s house every now and again.
I’m staying. Good people leave, but other good ones come. I disagree with some of the rule changes, but not enough to get my knickers in a twist. I respect Ed’s stance of “It’s my board, so my rules.” He has the right. But I agree with Sage Rat. They’re ruining an outlet for people to blow off steam at each other without it hijacking topics in other forums.
I spend most of my time in Cafe Society, MPSIMS, and IMHO where they don’t affect me that much. As long as everybody plays by the rule of “Don’t be a jerk,” I’m fine with it.
I’m still here. I registered at both those other boards, and posted at one of them, once, but I can’t say I’m very interested. I feel comfortable here.

Of course I’m staying. All that foofaraw about rule changes in the Pit means next to nothing to me.
staying around, been here for years, no point in crapping out over some rules changes that don’t affect me that much.
I’m staying and I still can’t quite figure out what the issue is.
The current round of issues I’ve seen started with inserting a board called The Barn House to promote Ed’s book right in the middle of the normal boards. There was much outcry and it was finally moved down to the bottom.
The restlessness still continued and some good posters were arbitrarily banned for not letting things go or questioning mods about various things.
The board still craps out fairly often with database errors, in spite of a long-awaited upgrade.
Then probably because of all the complaining about the board and mods, the Pit was defanged and given nebulous rules; you go to the pit to complain about someone or something but you can’t actually call anyone names any more. And if a topic isn’t “Pitty” enough it will get moved to the appropriate board. So what’s the Pit for again? 
I probably don’t have all the facts correct here, but that’s just my general take on the situation.

There are open threads announcing, and giving links to, domebo and Giraffe’s board – turns out that mentioning them isn’t in and of itself a bannable offense.
I’m staying and just avoiding all the controversy. I never really went to the Pit anyway so changes don’t affect me. I’m happy in my little corner of the world here.
