How late will everyone be there? I’ll be in church until 12:30 or so, and then I’d have to drive north at least an hour and a half. If it’s an all afternoon thing, it’s totally worth it. But if everyone’s gone by the time I arrive, I’ll sniffle.

If it lasts a bit later, I can catch the 9:20 train instead of the 6:46 which arrives in L.A. at 12:10. I’m putting my probability at less than 50%, so don’t count me in. Asimovian, if you are checking PM’s, I can probably PM you during the train ride to RSVP if I can find some 3G spots during the ride. I love dim sum!
I cannot imagine dim sum lasting less than an hour and a half.
In case you weren’t aware, Empress is walkable from Union Station, but your train ticket should transfer to the Gold Line, whose first stop is Chinatown.
Given the potential size of our party and the time, it will take a while for us to even get seated, so I definitely wouldn’t panic.
Seeing as how we’re now two days away and I’ll need to tell the hostess something when we arive, can I get a final showing of hands from those planning to attend, please? And please include a guest count if you’re bringing others.
