We had a dopefest at Bucca de Beppo in Pasadena once a long time ago.
There is also a Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in Padadena.
Not to mention about 1.6 jillion other restaurants.
Why don’t you start two polls, one with a selection of dates/times and one with locations (gather up the suggestions for locations from this thread). Then everyone who’s interested can pick their preferred place and time (multiple choice) and the most votes wins.
Rick, the last time I planned a Dopefest at Roscoe’s, someone ordered a friggen’ COBB SALAD. I don’t know that I can survive that again.
I do not know. I may have mentioned offhand that I plan on moving to Chicago soon(?). I don’t live in Los Angeles anymore, but I need a damn weekend out of town, or else I shall lose my mind, and I’m constantly threatening my parents with visits. I was actually just thinking last week, “I need to go back to in LA. I think I’ll do that next month.”
You should definitely make that trip over. 
Also, if no one volunteers to organize this by tonight, I’ll try to give it a shot myself.
So, there’s a Yardhouse in Pasadena. We can go there. I like Pasadena better than Costa Mesa, anyway.
Also, I tried to start a poll so we can figure out which day to do the dopefest on, but I couldn’t actually figure out how to get the poll set up. I guess someone else has to do it.

Also… I’ve only included Fri, Sat, and Sun in the poll, but if there is demand, I can expand this to include weekdays.

I picked all the dates. I’m easy. 
Oddly enough, those are the three worst days for me, since I try to go home to Florida on those days. It doesn’t always work out, though, so I’ll just wait and see what the tribe comes up with then see if I want to/can stay in town that weekend.
I’m on the flip side of this, since Fri-Sun are usually good for me but I can’t do any other days besides that. I responded to the poll as being available all of those days, but it’s tentative because I may start having Sat/Sun engagements. Fridays will always be good either way though.
Looking back through the thread, I now see that you mentioned this earlier. Oops! Is there a particular day of the week that is better than the others? I could perhaps add that one to the list. (I was avoiding putting a full calendar up so that people didn’t have to click on possibly 31 little checkboxes.)
Of course, when I’m internet-less everybody and their mother notices the thread.

I didn’t abandon it, I was at Pirate Faire. Which is much more awesome that Roscoe’s.
If weekends work best for most people, and I’m sure it does, just pick a weekend and I’ll try to get there. As it is I am here for the next year or so, and available most any Monday - Wednesday night for dinner, drinks, or general tomfoolery. I work in El Segundo and stay in Manhattan Beach, but can roam fairly far and wide with some advanced notice.
I picked the 3rd and 4th weekends in October. Can’t do the 2nd or 9th because I have family birthday parties to attend on both dates.
I’m not, but I picked all dates as well.
