Got Sis, her old man and the chihuahui off to Texas this morning in her new car and my old truck. All I hav e to do today is strip the bed, unpack and pick up a few things at the grocery store.
We taught Sis’ old man how to play euchre while we were in Indiana. Dad told us that we were losing our skills living where it’s not played. 
Hope everyone gets rested up before returning to irk tomorrow.

Warm and sunny today.
Nothing special going on, some laundry, dishes, vacuum and fixing some food.
Howdy Y’all! I have ushed, deheathenated, and had N.O.L. OYKW will be here by four. He stopped in Monkey Town to have N.O.L. and catch up with a cousin. Good for him. I foresee nappage shortly.
Jeans are washed, dried, and hanging in the closet. Shirts and such are in the dryer. The critters’ water fountain has been cleaned and refilled. And I found the key to the front door, so I could unlock the deadbolt which can only be unlocked from the outside - how’s that for a dumb lock??
We don’t normally use the front door, since we drive right into the garage and enter that way. In fact, pizza delivery guys use our front door more than we do. But now we can use it again, so yay.
I’ve got the house open to take advantage of the mild temps. Winter comes back the end of the week, but I’ll take fresh air now.
I need to open some windows too.
I’m washing the dog’s blanket and I used bleach. I like the smell of bleach, but not this much smell.
I should be irking but irk has become irksome.
I’m thinking about making some chicken today.
I’m debating using my Christmas check to pay bills or to save it for something special.
I got beef stew cooking in the slow cooker I got for Christmas, and I’m dusting and vacuuming between plays(got the Panthers game on the TV).
I do. Gordie would have been harassing you at 8:35.
Decided to try making N.O.T. pancakes for supper. I doubt they’ll be as good as Aunt Ronnie’s were - already I see I didn’t shred them finely enough. But we shall see.
Time to pack lunches for the week. Then I’ll veg the night away. MWAH!
Stew turned out alright for a 1st time attempt. I also made some roasted cauliflower.

OYKW received a proper “welcome home”. We et blts and oven fries for dindin. He took a bath and is now all tucked in and gone sleepy bye. He was tahrd, poor thing. I took some shredded smoked chikin boobs outta da freezer. I shall turn it into chikin enchiladas for tomorrow’s dindin. OLÈ!
BigKitty do you need to pack N.O.L.s for the week or veg? Maybe both?

TSO was great as usual. Forgot to mention something Red may find interesting; a local amusement park re-themed their haunted house/dark ride for Christmas. The replaced their usual haunt music with traditional holiday favorites – all played in a minor key. Made them creepy as all get-out.
