I worked in da Hood ,then went to the Quay for fondue and eggnog. I’m home and watching the Doctor Who Christmas Special. Life is good.
In-law visit finally concluded. They’re heading back to MIL’s hometown tomorrow morning.
Service at Denny’s wasn’t wonderful, and it wasn’t that full there. Our waitress did tell me she’d also been cooking, so I suspect understaffing.
We’re now relaxing at home, just DH, the Princess Cat, the featherhead, and me. 
Decided to start knitting a scarf. We’ll see if I finish the thing before spring.
One treat I bought myself with Christmas money (including a bonus I got as backup cashier of the month) was an electronic keyboard. No, I do not currently know how to play it. I’m going to learn. Anyone got recommendations for VERY beginner piano books/videos?
Too lazy to play with the colors.
Up too early- damn dog this time. I hear he was a bit of a handful yesterday, maybe it would have been better to have taken him with me.

For Christmas I got some chocolate, books, baking supplies, and a cute little cat toy with a Santa hat over one ear. I also got some money, but I filed most of that away into my savings/budgeting for different things.
Nice to hear you have a keyboard, **Seanette. **This book may be of help. I learned a bit about playing keyboard from a similar book.

My sisters called me yesterday to holler yuletide greetings at me. 
They were grateful that I kept my germs in the high country away from them. I wish they were away from me–I’m still miserably sick today and I *have *to go grocery shopping because I’m working seven days starting tomorrow.

No, I don’t think it’s just sleep deprivation. Anyone can click that “proof” button, including a family pet.
