In case you didn’t know, Battlefront is basically Battlefield 1941, but with a starwars universe overcoat.
Play on the different plantes, fly the vehicles, choose your faction. Huge battles.
I chose the XBox version over the PC version.

When I saw the commercial for this the first time, it was good enough for a “yeaaaAAAAHHHH!”

I just got it for the PS2. Mine came with a Scout Trooper action figure because I ordered in advance. It’s cool.
So i played a while last night.
I tried some single player in galactic conquest. I lost 2 out of three games but got a good feel of it.
Online, I had some lag problems. DOn;t know if it was serve rload or what the issue was. I didn;t have it on all games so i’m pretty sure it wasn’t me (also I don’t have problems in other games).
When the lag wasn’t bad the game was great. The Bots helped flesh out games where there weren’t a lot of players. When bots were disabled games took longer. One particular game we were at the cloning facility and evenly matched 3-3 with pretty even players. Since there are like 7 command points it was almost impossible to own them all. we ended up owning more than half and winning by killing them all off… after about 30 minutes.
Overall good game. Great graphics… i hope the lag issues are resolved.
