For those of you that don’t know, this game doesn’t even ship until Tuesday the 21st. They had a display box for it at Hollywood video tonight and I thought it was just a placeholder until the game actually came out but I asked the guy at the counter and he rented it to me :eek:.
Well, it’s great, and I’m going to get back to playing it. I haven’t been online to see if anyone else has it yet, but if perchance you have it, my gamertag is ciscomd. Hope to see you online.

I love how in the commercial they show an Ewok getting picked off via a scope view. Now THAT’s good marketing!!!
No kidding. I’m still not going to buy it, but I’m definitely renting it.

I’ve only ran into about 10 people online so far; one of them got it from GameCrazy where he works and everyone else said they got it from clueless clerks at Best Buy who must have gotten an early shipment and didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to be on the shelf.
As for how it is: It has failed on every level to dissapoint me. It’s by far the best Xbox game since Halo and one of the best video games I’ve ever played. I’m sure fans and non-fans alike will love it but if you’re a Star Wars geek like me you’re going to shit your pants the first time an absolutely huge AT-AT comes walking around a mountain blasting at you.
My only complaint so far is the the vehicles (especially the flying vehicles like the X-Wing and the Tie-Fighter) are a little hard to control and weak on fire power. I haven’t had the opportunity to get into an AT-AT yet.
Anyone getting the game when it comes out? I can’t afford to buy it right now but I’m sure I’ll rent it at least once more.
