Steve Jobs personally designed 260 ft yacht finished after his death - Is this an attractive ship?

The USS iSore

Damn. And all I came up with was “iAnchor”. :frowning:

DMark for the win!

You have to steer it with a scrollwheel.

Did he design it using Lego?

It didn’t fall out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.

That is because the ugly tree saw it approaching, uprooted itself, bowed down, and said “I’m not worthy! I’m not worthy!”

Huh…he went for function over form.
That’s a switch.

A Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie House lands atop a giant aluminum cheese wedge: Steve, you’ve done better.

Huh. Is that an Imperial or Victory class? Too small to be a Super. Either way, nice job hiding the mounts for the forward turbolasers; makes for a sleeker profile.

It’s like a giant floating Apple store. Apple stores are, imho, exceedingly unattractive.

Damn you. Beat me to it.

But yes, it looks like a lego ship.

That looks like the least functional bridge I’ve ever seen. No chairs? Hope the crew enjoys standing for 12 hours…

I had the exact thoughts! Plus, why so many washers and dryers in one place? Then I read the caption. I see no beauty at all in this design.

It looks like a floating strip mall.

Plus I bet it’s not compatible with existing docks.

The entire ship can be operated from one Click Wheel.

It looks like Jobs was channeling Howard Roark.

It looks like a big ass iPhone.

Fuck Ugly.

I saw an article about this earlier today, and while I’m definitely on board with it being horrifically ugly, I was far more taken aback by the mention that each shipbuilder was given a thank you note and an engraved iPod Shuffle. Which costs a whopping $49 retail. Wow, that’s some overwhelming generosity right there.

I’m sure they were also paid a metric fuckload of cash. You’d think they’d have sprung for a new iPhone, though.

I like the general design of Apple products during Jobs’ reigns. This however, is hilariously ugly.

[Captain America]I got that one! I got that reference.[/Captain America]
