Haha! Okay, you’ve just made me eat my words more than you realize. I clicked on your first link and thought “Oh shit, that’s the Bigelow.” :smack: I’ve actually been on that boat (although I never sailed on it), and have been on her bridge. I was about to try to weasel my way out of being wrong (the Bigelow is a NOAA vessel, technically not a private boat…) but yeah, you’re right. And now I can think of others with similar layouts, often with the captains chair set off to the side as in your second link. What’s it called when your mind forgets/ignores evidence that goes against your hypothesis again?
