Nothing sexier to me than a woman wearing whatever she happens to be wearing, and she just makes it sexy. It’s all about the person, not the lingerie.

Look for the spandex content in hosiery–all nylon hosiery without some spandex will sag around the ankles in a very short time. Buy a pair and try them.

I’m afraid I don’t find garters at all sexy, despite all the imagery. I think I remember those elastic-with-metal-clips garter deals my aunts used to use (and which were all over the place). They looked too utilitarian to be sexy, and certainly I didn’t think my aunts were sexy.
I also don’t see the allure of seamed stockings, which apparently really do it for some guys.

A lot of the time they are trite, an item of costume. But I like 'em as part of a “vintage” outfit, especially a '30s-'50s one.
Overall, though, I prefer bare legs.
