Once the skirt is off, pantyhose are comparatively unattractive compare to most other options. This is on a sliding scale though.

I personally don’t find them sexy or not. What I DO find sexy, though, is if they’ve been worn for me. If a woman has dressed up in sweats and slippers because she thinks I’ll like it, I’ll like it.

I have to draw a distinction between the stocking/garter belt combo being worn for the purpose of adding a little excitement to a bedroom romp, and being worn under a dress or skirt when we’re out together and seen in public. As for the former, I certainly enjoy the effort and interest taken to make it exciting and sexy and erotic, but it’s just a means to an end. Which is to say, she puts the outfit on knowing that in 15 minutes it will have done its job, and it’s coming off.
But for the latter, I love knowing that she’s wearing that underneath, with the sole purpose being because it makes her feel sexy. Even better is when she dresses while I’m in the shower, then we get to the event (wedding, cocktail party, holiday dinner, etc) and during the course of the evening I discover that’s what she’s wearing, and she knows I’m enjoying it, oh man… Since she could have chosen either that or the mundane stockings, both of which would have served the same practical purpose of covering her legs under her dress, but she chose the sexier option because it makes her feel good- that’s what’s sexy about it.
There’s a dress she wears that by its design, can’t be worn with a bra, and whenever she wears it she also wears stockings and a garter belt with no panties. It’s rather formal and only comes out about once a year, but it’s well worth the wait.

- Thigh high stockings accentuate and shadow the musclature(sp?) of each leg which gives a woman a more toned look. I certainly appreciate that.
- The sexy allure of knowing your woman is wearing thigh highs with or without a garter belt and knowing that those stockings may stay on when any sexual activity takes place, is always a plus.
