Surely this is about videos that are strange according to the conventions of real life.
Probably doesn’t/shouldn’t count, but the strangest video I’ve recently watched is Lynch’s ‘What did Jack Do?’ a 17 minute short . . . film? It’s available for streaming on Netflix, and . . . well, I lack the language to describe it other than Monkey Noir.
I feel we should judge videos by the standards of videos.
We have an entire lengthy thread going on giving examples of things that frequently happen in TV and movies that never happen in real life. I wouldn’t call a movie strange, for example, just because it depicted two cowboys having a gunfight even though that virtually never happened in real life. Gunfights are a normal convention in the western genre. Now if two cowboys squared off in the middle of the street and then drew swords and started fencing, that would be strange because it defies conventions.
So you think there are literally no porn videos that we would find strange?
When I was about 13 I went to a friends house and he showed me a porn video where a woman willingly put a live snake in her vagina and used it as a dildo.
It still freaks me out almost 25 years later.

I’m sure there are some. But the genre as a whole shies away from strangeness. So I was wondering why the OP specifically excluded it. Asking for the strangest non-porn video is like asking for the goriest non-romcom video.

Hertzfeld just had a new Kickstarter funded for a Blu-Ray of World of Tomorrow Parts 1-3 (plus some extra new stuff), with the option to get the disc of his other work from his last Kickstarter as an extra. The man is an insane genius, and I can’t wait to see what comes in June(-ish).
