I barely remembered her in the old Christopher Lee Dracula movies, as the older creepy woman.
I saw her in Great Expectations last year, and fell in love. Sigh. I had to find out everything about her. Even in her old age, I still loved her.

Professor Brian Cox. I’m far from alone in this crush. He’s always got that little smile that makes him look like, while he’s talking about physics, he’s thinking something really, really naughty.
Um…Keanu Reeves. For some reason I decided to watch a bunch of interviews with him on youtube, and he seems so shy and humble and soft-spoken and sweet…sigh And Sandra Bullock seems to adore him, and she’s awesome, so he must be, too.
Another one from me: Meekakitty, who has been described by the Daily What as being “Nerd Fanboy Catnip” She does a bunch of videos on Youtube. As far as I can tell, most of them are pretty danged random, and a few of them are music videos she’s made.
And a cautionary tale on why one shouldn’t give her caffeine.
Also, she makes this… sound? I don’t know the word for it. It’s mind-numbingly cute.
My biggest crush is David Tennant (The Tenth Doctor) - he has that nerdy-but-hot thing going. And the crazy hair, I love the crazy hair. Of course, he’s
- married
- a celebrity (not a big name, but he certainly has plenty of other fan-girls drooling over him)
- living in a different country.
Lily Serna is a young woman who is a mathematical whizz. She appears on a ‘geek show’ on SBS television station here in Australia, and apart from being incredibly smart, is also pretty damn cute!
Just a shame that I’m a hetero-female, otherwise I WOULD have a crush on this poor girl…fortunately, there’s plenty of others out there happy to take on the task.

Years ago I worked with a guy who casually said, after Nicole Kidman was mentioned in a discussion, that he had been to bed with her many times.
Cue open mouths.
Turned out his family were friends with the Kidmans and he, being older and his family visiting, had often read the Kidman girls a goodnight story when they were young.
I thought I posted this, but apparently I forgot. I’m finding it really easy to get crushes on any of the women on the That Guy With The Glasses site. So far, I’ve had a crush on JesuOtaku, Obscurus Lupa, and Iron Liz (Linkara’s live-in girlfriend). And, I’m sorry, but they meet meekakitty quite easily. She’s cute, but the nerdiness comes off as being exaggerated. The thing that makes these girls crushable is the idea that, in the right circumstances, I might have had a chance.
I call mine my “Hollywood boyfriend.” I’ve had passionate, though one-sided, affairs with Alan Tudyk and most recently Simon Pegg. However, I had to break up with Simon because of his excessive Twitter habit and because I’ve found a new flame. I wish him well, but we’re just not meant to be. I think Simon’ll be OK.
My new guy? Craig Ferguson. He’s super delicious.
(And yes, my husband knows all about my extra-marital flings. I think they amuse him, really.)

My 8-year-old son has been watching “Pair of Kings”, a really crappily-written show on one of the Nickelodeon networks, I think, but there’s this girl on there they call ‘Mikayla’, who has apparently been on a couple other shows but hadn’t amounted to much yet. But holy crap is this girl cute. Note, guys, I’m 43 years old, so I have the inverse problem some of the earlier posters had, I’M the old person, and she’s just a kid, but damned if I can’t stay away from the tv when he’s got that show on, and I’m trying to come up other reasons to justify my watching the show so that my son doesn’t wonder why dad’s still around when his show is on…
