Another example of liberal stupidity. Did it never occur to you that if the Annals reports it in the third person, he said it in the first person? Nah, that would require you to, ya know, think.
As reported in the Annals:
Please note the highlighted section. Madison was dead on target.
I love it when twits like you appoint themselves experts on my life. You are so far wrong that you’re not even in the same zip code with right. Deal with it.
Nevertheless Madison, properly or improperly, was applying the word to government relief; therefore, that is what it means or can mean within the context of this discussion.
Am I wrong? You consistently repeat things that aren’t true, and are one of the most venom-filled posters in political threads.
I’m not saying liberals are perfect, but because all the info you receive is so twisted, you think they’re trying to destroy the country. I know people just like you, trapped in caustic rage because they think that Obama is trying to confiscate guns or Hillary laughed while Americans were murdered in Benghazi.
Those things aren’t real. Your guns are mostly safe, and Benghazi isn’t a real scandal. It was an attack, that even house Republicans have, in their investigation, found no nefarious wrongdoing.
Yet every night some blowhard on your radio or television will mention Benghazi in a list of other pretend travesties and it is kept alive in your mind.
Like I say, I don’t think you’re that bad a dude. You work with kids, you love your wife. But because of this cloud of hate you act like a jerk.
But the question was not “Is Universal Healthcare charity?” It was “does Universal Healthcare and charity serve the same purposes?” and yes, they do providing a basic standard of care to those who cannot afford it. It is just the Universal Healthcare is applied with more success and with less bias than charity ever could.
I can sort-of see his point, though - there are expenses involved in having to maintain a residence in/around Washington in addition to the home district.
