If they want to get back to that old time religion, polygamy seemed to be the preferred arrangement for most of the big names in the Bible: Abraham, Jacob, David, Solomon, etc. God is quoted several times as saying David was his boy, and Solomon, allegedly the wisest man who ever lived, had 700 wives and 300 concubines.
AFAIK polygamy was never prohibited in the Bible, although some verses may be construed as saying monogamy is preferable (St. Paul says celibacy is best of all, and nobody considers that a commandment).
This one really confuses me: the Dane County (Madison WI) sheriff, a Democrat, says that Scott Walker is lying. About what? That he asked Walker, “please don’t sign the legalization of marijuana.” Which, of course, was not pending anyway. But the sheriff says he has never had an official-type conversation with Walker at all. Ever.
So what does Walker hope to gain by this? Is he just a pathological liar? Or is he trying to convince everyone that he is not really stoned all the time? Because, to convince me, I would have to see his blood-work.

There’s been a recent spate of 5-year olds shooting their three-year old siblings. Perhaps Alabamans want those three year olds to pack their own heat so they can stand their ground?
