What a glam slam. I hope somebody posts something about it just being about religious freedom on facebook just so I can post this picture. I’m feeling feisty.
I am particularly amused by the Talibornagains whining about the state being “bullied” by economic pressure from the boycott and political pressure from business leaders participating in (or hoping to avoid damage from) same.
Well, that’s how you right-wingers kept saying it ought to work! The Job Creators, peace be upon them, have spoken – so they have written, so let it be done.
I just want to make it abundantly clear, this post is entirely your fault.
I hadn’t heard about this. Could you please elucidate?
This one is the smoking gun

After the bill was passed but before the shit hit the fan, Advance America ( one of the Anti-LGBT organizations that helped draft the bill and had a representative, Eric Miller, at the signing ) issued this press release gleefully titled** VICTORY AT THE STATEHOUSE!!!**
Churches, Christian businesses and individuals deserve protection from those who support homosexual marriages and those who support government recognition and approval of gender identity (men who dress as women). SB 101 will help provide the protection!
Here are just three examples where SB 101 will help:
» Christian bakers, florists and photographers should not be punished for refusing to participate in a homosexual marriage!
» A Christian business should not be punished for refusing to allow a man to use the women’s restroom!
» A church should not be punished because they refuse to let the church be used for a homosexual wedding!
Worth noting that these were the ONLY examples quoted - they are all related to discrimination.
So Mike Pence is nothing but a bold-faced liar. To quote the recently married Jim Nabors in his signature role…Surprise Surprise !!!

So they disapprove of gender identity? Do they even understand English?
That’s not what it means fools. We ALL have a gender identity.
Every. One. Of. Us.
Or don’t you consider yourselves any particular gender?
ETA: And churches will never be punished for refusing to host any particular wedding. Do you even hear yourselves? Has a church EVER been forced to host an interracial wedding? Has a church ever been forced to host any wedding of any kind?
It sounds as if they believe thay can refuse me service if I walk in and make a statement supportive of gay marriage, aside from if I’m gay or if I’m getting married.
If I can sue to get the Catholic church up the street to serve me communion…
Oh, wait.
More from Indiana: Woman who says she miscarried is sentenced to 20 years for feticide.
I’m repeatedly surprised that so many conservative organizations are so childishly gleeful over bigotry as to use multiple exclamation points on their official press releases like a 13 year old girl talking about Justin Bieber.
Most of us would applaud a law discriminating against Justin Bieber.
Interesting that the two women mentioned in the story were of Asian descent. But we know that the law is intended to push down the weakest among us, so it is fitting.
Is it me, or does Eric Miller look gleefully evil in that photo?
Full-on Putin face.
Is it too late to tell GLAAD or somebody that it’s “publicly,” not “publically”?
Word nerd cringe.
I’d have to admit he does look very Putinesque, but my first thought was Albert Speer.
???
Early Mariners Would Idolize Greenwich Mean Time?
I was curious too - my Google fu came up with “excuse me while I grind my teeth.”
You have to read it in context, Tony. It’s clearly Even My Wombat Is Going Mad Today.
