Why abandon a tactic that works? AWOL Bush is a war hero, medal-winning Kerry is a traitor. Not to mention the Orwellian names the pubbies give their bills.
What a fuckin’ idiot.

No, she’s right. As soon as Iran enriches enough uranium to make one bomb, it will forget all about Israel, and blow up every single US city. Wake up, sheeple!
Like “Right to work” and the “Patriot Act”?
We should probably have a separate thread on Orwellian ALEC/GOP bill/law titles.
Didn’t read the article, but when all these guys supposedly approach Ted to tell him how they are about to kill themselves, does he even try to talk them out of it?
Is Ted speaking to the dead?
This fall on Fox: Ted Nugent stars in the fresh new series, The Talking Dead!
Just like how Rahm Emanuel is welcoming all the conventions abandoning Indiana because we’re not crazy (relatively) in Chicagoland, perhaps some civic boosters from Oregon or Washington can invite our hard-working Muslim brothers and sisters to jump the border.
That would be tricky, seeing as how any conversation between Ted Nugent and a veteran is likely to quickly include the phrase “pants-shitting coward” and go downhill from there.
Who wants to listen to Peepants McDraftdoger?
Well said!
Michelle Bachmann, Victoria Jackson and much of the state I reside in.
Currently in it’s fourth season on AMC.
Blessedly Nugent free, though.
“The Talking Brain Dead.”?
Yes. They are coming. They are coming for . . . America’s potatoes! (Can’t grow 'em in the desert, y’know.)
Syria no has potato. Syria sad.
I think the word is “channeling.”
Because it reads like a comedy bit.
Well, at least all the percentages add up to 100%. That’s something.
That reminds me of a group we have in our state that periodically sends out e-mail diatribes blasting our local school administration, newspaper, and/or state and city governments (depending on the phase of the moon and the medication schedule of the writer, probably). They consistently use this thing they call an “Integrity Index,” where anyone scoring below 30 (I think) is thereby inherently “evil” (and that is the term they use.) They even have the gall to add “Anyone Claiming to Have Better Numbers is Asked to Provide Them, Along With Derivation Methods Used.”
Thing is … their index numbers are entirely created out of thin air themselves. If they don’t like a decision a legislator or school superintendent or columnist makes, that means they get a low integrity number. Oh, they have links to a scholarly-looking justification of where they come up with their numbers (that’s why they know grown-up words like “derivation”), but the explanation is laughably insane.
I can’t guarantee these guys are stupid Republicans, but their ideas absolutely fall under libertarian/Tea Party/general right-wing talking points. Check out their website if you want to go falling down their rabbit hole http://www.iowalive.net. Beware of mid-1990s website design and indiscriminate use of the term “EVIL!!!”
