Sorry about the hijack. A note for those playing at home: The Raleigh News and Observer editorial staff is chock full of graduates from the UNC journalism school. Their sports page (and very occasionally other sections) reflect this.
It’s okay - it’s a sore spot this morning. My 7 year old announced today (while stomping and throwing himself on the ground) that he will no longer be wearing any shade of blue, thereby eliminating about 80% of his wardrobe. Go Pack!
Um … don’t you think telling him to go pack his stuff is a bit of an overreaction? He’s seven, and the labor market being what it is–particularly the lack of coal mine opportunities for youthful go-getters–he’ll likely have a rough go of it. Besides, he would have been growing out of all that stuff soon anyway, wouldn’t he?
