Stupid Republican idea of the day

What sort of thread, and forum, do you think this is? :dubious:

You say potato…

You make Latvia sad. Cannot haz potato.

Welcome to Twitter, Mr. President.

If we’re lucky, quite a few of those respondents will get a visit from the Secret Service. If we’re really lucky, a dozen or so will get prison. Threatening the President is still a Federal Offense.

Most of those respondents didn’t threaten the President; they just said ugly, horrible things to him.

The noose pictures are likely to result in a visit and a little talk, though.

Maybe they could accidentally discharge a couple of tazers at that dude.

Shocking. Positively shocking.

Yeah, the nigger talk is no surprise - GIFT and so on. The “rope for change” thing is something else though. I wouldn’t call it a threat per se, since it’s still firing from the interwebs, but it’s the sign of pretty nasty feelings and ideas. On the positive side, it’s something to link whenever some cunt touts the “post racial society !!!” meme Fox & Friends have been bullshitting about.

That being said, as with other similar items on Facebook & Twitter alike, I wholeheartedly support racist shitheads openly outing themselves as racist shitheads. They all go on The List.

Do yours go on the Slap List or the Punch In The Throat List? I put all mine on the PITT List.

I only got the one list. The Up Against The Wall Come The Revolution List.

Fox News Is Hurting Republicans, Former Bush Official Says.

"Fox News is hurting the Republican Party, according to a study conducted by a top official in the first Bush administration.

“The study, authored by Bruce Bartlett, who worked in the Treasury Department under George H. W. Bush and was also a domestic policy adviser to Ronald Reagan, found that Fox viewers tended to be less informed about current affairs than people who watch mainstream news – and even people who don’t watch the news at all.”

I love this line: “‘It appears that right-wing bias, including inaccurate reporting, became commonplace on Fox,’ Bartlett said.”

In other news: Water is wet.

Oh, that list.

Gee, and here I thought all the right wingnut opposition to Obama was based on thoughtful policy considerations.

Well, since it’s supposed to be illegal to say you’re going to kill the PotUS, even in jest, I could see a visit in the future.

There used to be a blog called “Muslims Are Terrorists” where the author used to advocate for revolution against the White House, and use language that would have made him a shoo-in for Stormfront. I used to read it, just incredulous that someone could actually have thoughts like that. He kept going, and getting progressively worse. I eventually ended up emailing the link to his blog to the FBI, because it was starting to sound like he was about to actually go off the deep end and act, as opposed to just venting. The blog has been shut down, but he left a nice message for anyone who stumbled across the now defunct blog:

I haven’t found his new site yet. I don’t remember how I found his old one.

Oh, I am aware. It’s very, incredibly extremely illegal.
