If Alvin Greene sits, never says a word, and never votes in the Senate, he will be an improvement. A BIG improvement.
There IS another candidate against Demint. Tom Clements of the Green Party. He’s got my vote. No way I’d vote for either Demint or Greene, and Clements would be a fine senator - metric miles better than Demint!

Clements has got a better shot than Greene… Unless there aren’t any more election machine malfunctions again.

IIRC, the SC Democratic party pretty much endorsed Clements. Of course, their by-laws prohibit them from outright endorsing him or giving him money. But any time someone asks, they mention Clements’ name, and mention that they cannot officially endorse him.

Jim DeMint has once again come out against gays or single women teaching in our schools. It was a really stupid idea last time he said it but I guess he needed to reiterate it just before an election.
Lies lies and more lies. The random untruths the candidates this time around they think they can get away with. If you are recorded saying something it’s pretty provable that you are lying when you claim later you never said that. It’s getting really sad. At least in the past all politicians would at least defend themselves saying ‘that’s not what I meant.’ Now we have people simply claiming I never said that despite the video’s showing otherwise.

Incidents such as Sharron Angle. who has been the biggest offender being caught on film. claiming she never said they should privatize VA benefits when she has been films saying exactly that.
The others just lying in general.
Paladino claiming he has information about his opponent having extramarital affairs when he can’t produce any because there is none.
Christine O’Donnell claiming she has secret information on China planning to take over the US.
Allen West claiming he has higher security clearance then the president of the US
Fair enough, except for Christine O’Connell. She has been very careful to keep the voices in her head secret.
Let’s not forget Jan Brewer and the headless corpses in the Nevada desert.
