Didn’t see this onw above, so here goes:
Kansas, again. Trying to figure out new ways to make sure the poor have no money. The tactic is to limit the amount of cash they can withdraw to $25 a day. yay…
I am so committed to the idea of free speech that I am willing to risk your life to prove my point.
A new species of chickenhawk.
Haberdash cited that article in another thread as an example of why Muslims are bad.
For me the kicker is Gellar’s insistence that if we don’t let her troll Muslims it means Shariah law has taken over in America.
Its stupid even in a cynical, realpolitik sense. It promotes the myth our real enemies are trying to sell, that the problem centers around an inherent conflict between Islam and damn near everybody else.
But West didn’t start shoving Muslims around because of theology, the West started pushing them around because of oil. God foolishly, or for reasons we don’t understand, put our oil under their dirt. So, we had to adjust things so we could get it. Like their governments, and stuff.
People like the odious and poisonous Ms Gellar promote our enemy’s agenda, encourage their recruitment, and draw attention away from whatever legitimate grievances need to be addressed. It injures both and injures all, it injures people who have no connection whatever to the “conflict”.
I am hesitant with the word “evil”, because it implies a metaphysics that I am suspicious of. But this shit comes damned close. The only reason it is not as evil as Nazism is that Nazism had more power to inflict itself on the innocent. And it is the duty of every self-respecting human with a shred of decency to protect the innocent from evil.
Considering that Judge Moore was tossed out of his job (not impeached, IIRC, just ‘removed’) in *Alabama * (and you have to be a pretty big a loser to do have that happen) on the State Supreme Court (he got re-elected, of course, as I noted, this is Alabama).
The man gives Alabama a bad name…which, all things considered, is pretty hard to do (as we already are a joke).
Recovering Texan here. Tell me about it.
Anybody here from DC? What is the socioeconomic/racial profile of DC transit riders? Given that the city is predominately A-A, I have a hard time not feeling as though Gellar’s goal is to endanger those problem-folk, otherwise maybe she would advocate this project in her pretty little Texas town.
Except for The Rose of Alabamy! ![]()
In 50-49 vote, US Senate says climate change not caused by humans.
She’s from Long Island. Lives in New York. Doesn’t know an armadillo from an Amarillo. Long Island, you can hear her talk here: https://www.youtube.com/user/atlasshrugs2000.
Think Marrisa Tomei in Cousin Vinny.
“Publisher of Atlas Shrugged” says her Facebook. Sheesh.
Anyway, this one is not from Texas. Just sayin’, is all. Keep the record straight.
Can we put other scientific facts to the vote as well ? I’d really like to propose a vote on the boiling temperature of water at sea level. This perfidious “100 degrees” lie has gone unchecked for too long, when the real answer is “whenever god decides to make it boil”.
Oooh, you know what votes would really speed up, too ? Double-blind pharma. tests. These things take aaaages. But just have the Senate vote whether or not this pill safely cures arthritis, bam, done by lunch !
That’s Muhammad Ali. Note spelling.
Also, 'luc, please don’t spell Pamela Geller’s name as “Gellar.” I don’t want to drag Sarah Gellar’s name through the mud by association.
Is she related to the spoon guy?
Maybe it was aborted.
Is he a Scientologist?
Did you read the comments below that video?
